I am so thankful I found Nic/Simpson Electric. I've had him over to add new breakers, extend a critical circuit downstairs and some other items. I found the rates to always be super reasonable and often worked on items as just a ""service call"". Their work was always neat and professional. I am truly grateful and he will be the first person I call from now on.

I discovered a remodeling contractor had mis-wired our circuit breakers a few years ago so the air conditioning unit didn't run. Called Nic who had some time right then. He shows up in 30 minutes and had the breaker box rewired in 90 minutes using a new breaker from his truck. He pointed out some code violations that I might consider fixing ""next time"" - no pressure. He solved the problem efficiently, professionally and courteously, and at a very fair price. What more could you ask for?

I'm only able to write this review because of Nic and Jesse! Our power was going in and out all day, and when PG&E came, they saw sparks and burn marks on our main panel. We had to shut off power around 10:30 the night before July 3rd, which was a holiday for many. We called six electricians that night trying to find someone but only getting voicemail. Nic texted back almost right away saying he would come first thing in the morning.

He arrived promptly in the morning and looked everything over. Super polite and courteous, very knowledgeable, and he never tried to push us into more expensive options. Instead, he just let us know what could be done. We ended up choosing to replace the entire panel, and he and his brother started it that morning. They were here until 8:00 pm working non-stop. Super friendly and professional, and when they needed to come into the house, they even took off their shoes and were very careful to keep things clean.

Overall, they were FANTASTIC. We will definitely be calling them for any and all of our electrical needs!

He gave me an extremely competitive bid on my recessed light installation project and then ended up charging me even less than his very competitive estimate! But more importantly his work is impeccable and his professionalism exemplary. Look no further!

I needed to diagnose an outlet with no power; Nic was methodical and meticulous, finding problems in a couple places, and explaining them to me as he worked along. They even offered to show up before the appointed time, completed the job quickly, and were meticulous in their work. Contacted Nic from Simpson Electric based on our realtors recommendation.
Nic came over and took a preliminary look at the property and told us in detail about electrical components we could change/add/remove based on our budget.
He was extremely thorough with our project, we wanted to add recess lights and had a lathe and plaster ceiling. After adding the lights there was not a spot of dirt or leftover fallen ceiling parts anywhere in the living room.
His body of work is amazing and we would definitely recommend Nic !
