I had Minh and his workers install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my EV and change an old Federal Pacific panel that posed a fire hazard. Minh has great communication skills and responded to all of my questions. They arrived on time, completed the installations with great detail to workmanship and even mounted my EV charger! I wish I could give Simply Electric more that 5 stars, they deserve it!

Minh installed home EV charging NEMA 14-50 at my house. Very communicative throughout, arrived promptly after travelling for 30+ mins to Union City. Outstanding work, very neat and organized, comes with dust pan, vacuum, trash can, tool kits etc. After done, fixed a GFCI outlet in my backyard for nothing extra. Highly recommended.

I called Minh to inquire a quote about installing a NEMA 14-50 for my Tesla model 3. His rate was one of the better ones after messaging lots of other businesses on yelp. He was very responsive by yelp messaging. He pretty came in a couple days after setting up the appointment and did a very quick instal in about an hour. It has worked out great since then!

We hired Minh to install a charging outlet for our Tesla Model 3. Minh was very quick to come over and provide an estimate. He arrived at the scheduled time and finished the installation quickly. The best part was he cleaned up the entire installation area. It was cleaner than when he started the install! I would definitely hire Minh to do work for us again. We had a big job to install recessed lighting in our home. In total we installed 34 lights in 7 different rooms with varying ceiling heights and some on the first floor of the house with no attic access. Minh came to give us a quote and without asking he provided his contractor license and credentials, which made me feel that he does things proper and by the book. He quoted us labor costs only and that we'd have to get the materials. His quote was fair and competitive with other quotes we had gotten. He was very helpful in recommending the materials we needed for the job and very responsive to my questions. Overall the work took about 4 days to complete and Minh was on time each day at 8am to begin work. I feel Minh takes the time to make sure the installation is proper. We had another electrician quote that he could complete the job in one day but I think Minh took the time to make sure there were no pipes or any other things in the walls that would be affected by the recessed lighting. He had to carve holes in the drywall to run wiring for some of the rooms but the cuts were small and basically we just needed to caulk and paint over. Each day, Minh would clean up after himself and everything was moved back to where it was. He seemed knowledgeable and I would definitely call him for any future projects.

I looked at approximately 30 different vendors on Yelp (and their reviews) and called for quotes before choosing to go with Simply Electric. I'm writing this review after having recessed lighting installed in my home (12 lights, 6 in the living room and 6 in the master bedroom). Overall, Minh did a wonderful job installing my recessed lighting and helping with the replacement of 2 outlets that have been faulty at times. After providing a high-level estimate, Minh came over to provide a quote. During that time, he walked me through everything that I asked and was really helpful in explaining things that I had questions to. Minh is honest, humble and very courteous. He showed up early and texted me to see if I was home (but did not pressure me if I wasn't). When it came to discussing dimmers and materials, he was helpful and allowed me to either buy my own materials or go through him to purchase it. I think his prices are reasonable; From my research, I found him to be somewhat on the lower end of the range. There were surprises in terms of cost, his cost ended up being what we expected. The installation took 1 day (he initially said it could take 1 or 2 days) so that was great. His team was professional, they took care of my place as they covered the floors and cleaned-up before leaving.

I would highly recommend using Simply Electric. Great job, Minh and Team! We appreciate the hard work you guys did. We really like the new lights that brighten-up the rooms and keep the place looking cleaner since floor lamps are no longer needed!

Minh is efficient, knowledgeable, punctual, and goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. He explained everything and made sure I understand the work involved. He did several services and upgrades to our house. The cost and quality of the work are just outstanding and are above what you get from other contractors.

Sooooo I needed some help with a few outlets that weren't working. Minh came in and diagnosed the problem within a half hour. He fixed all the problem outlets/ GFI's and even came back after lunch. I wasn't worried about the cost, I was worried about my outlets working correctly. Minh solved the problem outlets and got me back in tip top shape. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I had requested a quote for installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet for charging brand my electric vehicle - Tesla. Since my sub-panel was maxed out, Minh proposed a creative solution of pulling from the Main panel and rearranging the A/C circuit. He came over in person to asses my situation and then provide a quote. I got multiple quotes and Simply Electric was certainly not the cheapest. I nevertheless chose Simply Electric and Minh seemed to be far more knowledgeable and he took the time to make a visit. He and team took ~3 hours to finish the job meticulously and I am now a satisfied customer!
