Had a problem with the pool pump tripping the circuit breaker, and the guy from this company cut and disconnected all other wires to make the pump work and told me he would be back 3 days later to fix the real cause by finding out where the electrical short was happening. He did this without consulting with me first, and I was without security lights in the back and my dog almost fell into the pool at night. Called another electrician who asked me why and who disconnected all wires in the circuit breaker, which was totally unnecessary according to him. He was charging by hour and I had to pay for him doing nothing but causing me problems. Don't use this company.

I have been a customer of this company for over 20 years and have referred Rick to some of my neighbors. Always did a good job and even would charge me less than quoted due to not having to spent a lot of time at my house. I requested 2 plugs (outlets) repaired. Two workers came to the house and spent less than 10 minutes. I was charged $120 because Rick said that was his minimum cover charge. Maybe I should have asked for a quote before they came over but since Rick kept calling me at least three time to install Christmas lights which I did not want done this year. So I trusted him to be fair as he had always been. Not using him again and neither is one of my neighbors. The workers who installed her Christmas light did not install them properly and they had to come back and then charged her again.

I called and left a message. Within 4 hours, Rick returned my phone call. He was generous with his time and knowledge. He answered a variety of questions about installing solar powered attic fans.

Rick was user-friendly and was gracious with providing insights about attic fans.

Made an appointment with Rick and he came and gave me a detailed quote for some outside ceiling fan installations and electrical setup in a home in Corona. Carlos came out and did an amazing job. Also while there, they found some potential hazards from an old spa hookup and took care of that for me too. Price, service, and professionalism were amazing. Would recommend to anyone!

Hired to do to change out 240 volt circuit to 120 volt circuit for sewer pump November of 2017. They sent Carlos to do the work and charged 250.00 us to have the work done. They did the change the circuit at circuit box but they did not change out the 240 fuse box to a 120 volt GFI at the other end. This may have caused the 120 volt sewer pump to burn up. When we reported to them he got mad and started cussing and calling me an idiot . He then agree to refund 100.00 dollar to me the following week because I had told him I was going to the contractor board to file a complaint. He never showed up with the refund. I will never use or endorse him for work that was not done correctly. Time to call the contractor board!

My wife and I have used Simmons Electric three times now, and couldn't be any happier with the results....I'm baffled at the bad reviews. Each time we've used Simmons, they were on time/punctual, excellent communication, called to confirm prior to arrival, absolutely top notch work ethic and detail! The last two times, Carlos came to do the scheduled work, and absolutely knocked it out of the park in every way imaginable...went above and beyond in every way - seriously!! We are already planning on having these guys out for our next projects, and couldn't be any happier with them....I highly recommend!!

This company is highly unprofessional and would not recommend it to anyone. Person on the phone was rude and to top it off they were a No Call No show on the day we set an appointment.
