1. Received quote and specifically stated that I did not want the work done if if you be over a certain amount. They proceeded to do the work and charge me 2x as much with no communication.

2. Workman swearing constantly in my house while he did the work while I'm trying to work from home.

3. Had to tell them to put something down on my carpets before tromping across then in their dirty work shoes.

Save yourself the stress & use another company. And always get your quotes in writing!

Hector and Gaylyn, owners of Silverado Valley Electric are great to work with. Gaylyn schedules and Hector shows up on time and does an excellent job. Just put in a call to our home warranty company for some electrical work that was needed (ugh) at our new house and Silverado is who they contracted with. As a real estate agent I have my go-to peeps for electrical and since I am particular about who I do work with I was a little wary. But let me just say that these guys rocked!

When I first called, the person who answered the phone said they were pretty full for the rest of the week and probably couldn't make it until Monday. When I told her the problem we were having she said, ""Ok, let me make a quick call and I will call you right back."" She did, and someone was out within an hour. The person who showed up was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and even answered some questions for me on an unrelated electrical issue.

I would happily recommend Silverado Valley Electric, and would even call them again!
