Michael came out and gave me an estimate for an EV wall charger and kitchen electrical work. Prices very fair and he seems quite knowledgeable.

Then we talked about permits. Michael said that most customers don't want to get them even if required. So he couldn't even give me a price to include pulling permits. They basically don't want to do it.

Electrical is something that should be permitted and inspected. Safety is more important than $$$. Professionals should be encouraging compliance with safety rules.

We have a large kitchen with a lot of ceiling lights. The lights were about 10 years old, and the ballast for the CFLs were going bad. I was replacing CFL bulbs every six months or so. Not acceptable.

I wanted led lights. This was a project that was beyond my DIY skill set. I had been putting it off, but finally decided to get it done.

I called Silva and spoke to Gene. He was great. He accommodated my schedule without any trouble. The electrician showed up a few minutes early with a mask. He worked very efficiently and finished the job in a few hours.

Other than the fact we have much nicer lights that are a lot brighter, I could not tell we had a contractor in the house that day. No mess.

My wife loves the new lights. I had a great experience with Silva and will use them again.

I think I've found my electrician! I called a few places to get an estimate for how much it would cost to fix an issue in my house. I had another electrician here who couldn't find the issue after looking for 40 minutes, he then gave me an estimate of $1000+. I told the person who called me from Silva the issue and he told me exactly what the issue was and that it would cost $220. He had someone at my house within 30 minutes. The job was completed within 20 minutes. I can't thank this company enough for making the process so easy. I will definitely be using their services from now on. I highly recommend!

Silva Electric was a super help to me! I had a tenant who had done unauthorized electrical mods and I needed to move into the house. They came out and fixed the mods the very next day. Tenant had installed their own outlet 6 feet up the bedroom wall. I needed to get the home painted quickly and was deep in other repairs when they arrived the next day. Not only did they do the work quickly and completely, but they also gave me some spackle blending tips that saved me a couple days worth of work and I was able to start painting the next day. I will definitely be calling them in the future.
