Silva Electric is one of those companies that you want in your home or business.
Eugene is very skilled and can get it done right for minimal cost to the consumer.
Easy communication and highly proficient. I couldn't recommend their company any higher.
They were on time and took care of my electrical issue.
Skilled, polite and able to do same day service. We will have them back to do can lighting in our Huntington Beach home.

I was having multiple electrical issues in a home that i just bought, lights flickering/appliances tripping and not working, etc etc, and i hired 3 different electricians troubleshooting for at least 30 hours spending so much money on it, and no one was able to fix the issues and all they were saying was to upgrade panel which is another 5k. I was so desperate because thats the last thing i wanted to do, and i really believed there was a problem elsewhere. I was referred to Eugene from one of the electricians, and during that 1 phone call with Eugene, he addressed the issue, and basically fixed all my issues. It was the problem with Edison, and they came out and fixed it (at no charge). The Edison guy told me that a good electrician should have known what the problem was in the beginning and should have advised to call Edison right away. Eugene was the only electrician that caught the issue, and i am soooo thankful for him. I saved thousands of dollars because of him. From now on, he will be my one and only electrician. Thank you Eugene!! And i hope other people can get help from him too

I've rarely been as happy with a service provider or to write a review. I had a carpet cleaner who plugged his equipment into my wall socket, and as a result, two circuits blew in my house, one of which controlled my fridge. I called Silva Electric in the afternoon, and Eugene told me that it's a problem that was familiar to him and he could fix it. He quoted me a price, but said he couldn't be here until the next day. That was before he knew that the fridge was one of my issues and it was a built-in, so couldn't easily be plugged into another outlet.

At that point, he told me that he could break away from the job he was working on to get it taken care of today, but there would be a (very reasonable) surcharge. When I told him that was fine, he was at the house 45 minutes later, and solved the issue in 15 minutes. It was refreshing and pleasant working with someone who not only knows his trade very well, but communicated his familiarity with the issue, gave me a price up front, showed up when expected, and solved the problem.

I recommend Silva Electric unreservedly. I'll be having him back to change out the wall outlets in my house (they're old, creating a hazard, and some aren't working), and Eugene would absolutely be my first choice for any electrical issue.

Had a bad breaker switch. Called Eugene he was here within 1 hour. Very efficient very knowledge fixed the problem withing 20 min. If you ever have a problem call this guy. You won't be sorry.

My outdoor outlet stopped working, so I called Silva Electric and Eugene picked up. He was able to give me advice on how to fix the problem over the phone at no cost. Unfortunately, the simple solutions didn't work. I ended up resolving the problem by replacing the outlet with a new CFGI. I will definitely, hire Eugene for any electrical needs in the future since he is an honest man.

This review is long overdue. We were referred to Silva Electric in 2020 when our electrician stopped doing residential work and we have never looked back. They came and helped us right after we purchased our new home and over the course of the past four years have fixed outlets, helped us take care of safety issues, put in many can lights, relocated and installed new ceiling fans, and advised on different situations. They are always prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They are everything you are looking for in good electrician but they are great not good. I highly recommend reaching out to them but heads up, the secret is out so sometimes they get busy. Don't worry the wait is worth it.
