I own a rental property in Mountain View. This company fixed an overhead light in the master bedroom less than a year ago. It's already stopped working. I hope they don't charge me a lot more to fix it.

I called Jeremy on the recommendation of a friend. Sierra Electric turned out to be everything my friend had said they were. Jeremy responded promptly. We discussed the project, he quoted me a fair price and we set a date. They arrived on time, were knowledgeable and efficient. The project was completed on time at a fair price and at a good value for the work done.

I will definitely call them again for our next project which we have already discussed.

Gary, the technition that took car of my problems was, knowlegable, efficiant and freindly and polite. He's done two jobs for me recently and each time, he did a great job and was quick. Each time he quickly assesed the situation and went right to work. Finished way sooner than I expected and cleaned up after himslef before he left. I'll defenitely use this company for any future needs.

Updated review! I'm now living in Mountain View and had an electrical problem in our back house and our living room light wasn't working. I had remembered Sierra from when I needed an electrician last (see previous review) and called them again. And again, another great job. Fair pricing. Nice guys. Jeremy is very communicative and friendly. The technician who came out was professional and courteous. Now everything is working. The price was fair and everything is working great. They should be the company that you call!

I contracted Sierra Electric to replace a hanging kitchen ceiling light with a NEW ceiling fan / light. Jeremy informed me that a new in-ceiling electrical box would have to be installed to accommodate the additional power needed for the ceiling fan. Gary showed up on time and did a GREAT job with installing the NEW equipment. Sierra Electric was also able to accommodate my request to install a doorbell transformer for our NEW video doorbell. Everything is working as expected and we are very happy with the service and pricing provided by Sierra Electric. We recommend them for any household electric work and plan on using them again on future jobs.

The problem with my electrical outlets happened late in the afternoon last week, and I didn't expect an electrician to come out at that late hour. The issue was with my breakers, and nothing I did would get them to work. But I called Sierra Electric, whom I've used before, to see if someone could come out the next day. A woman named Amanda (she kept repeating her name to me, so I remember) very politely took my information, asked me to hold while she said she'd call to check as to when someone could come out to do my job. She got back to me and said that Sierra Electric would send someone out the next day and would call me first thing in the morning to verify time. At 8:30 the next morning a woman who said she was calling from Sierra Electric said that she had no one available to do my job. I asked when someone would be available, expecting to book an appointment. No, she said, no one would be available to do my job, period. She was curt and rude. It was clear they didn't want my business. Why, I don't know, as they were always paid immediately upon receipt of invoice. In reading all these glowing reviews, I'm not sure which Sierra Electric they're talking about. I'll never use them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Very dissappointed.

They were outstanding from start to finish- thoroughly explained what work needed to be done, finished on schedule, and charged exactly what they quoted. Jeremy and his worker were competent, trustworthy, and reliable - I highly recommend!
