I do not think there is a more honest and experience professional in Southern California than tony at shore Break Electric.
I had an issue that could not be figured out by anyone after I had solar installed.
tony came out within an hour... he spent well over an hour, got on the phone with Vivint Solar, insisted they come out and did constant follow up. I was charged me just what the initial service call was, and it was well worth it...and I am so grateful for your honest and professional services.
Thank you Tony and your son... I was so nervous and skeptical calling as it was a perplexing situation. All these 5 star reviews are all earned.

We started with an electrical panel issue, which Tony fixed. Tony did a great job, so we had him out to upgrade our outlets. Due to a house fire, Tony will now be rewiring our entire house.

This review is for an Electric Vehicle (EV) dedicated meter installation quote in order to take advantage of Southern California Edison's (SCE's) dedicated EV meter program. I asked for a second electrical meter installation quote for an electric vehicle from this company as this company advertises that they have experience doing the work. He was punctual and nice. He gave an astronomical price written on the back of a business card. The conversation I had with him painted a picture of uncertainty, unfamiliarity, and lack of knowledge regarding EV meter installations. No formal quote or paperwork provided.

I don't usually give reviews until a job is done but Tony and his crew at Shore Break Electric are solid enough to review early. I initially hired them for a simple breaker issue but after seeing Tony work and finding that our main panel was a mess I decided to hire him to clean it up plus, install 3 additional outlets inside the house. They've done a fantastic job, have been straight forward in all explanations of their work and have consulted with me when they need my input or approval. I also like that they're local and we're supporting our local businesses.

I have the same complaint as one of the other reviewers. I had an appt for Saturday. Friday they called and said they need to reschedule for Sunday. When my appt time came on Sunday without anyone showing up I texted to make sure someone was still coming. They texted back and said they had to reschedule for another day. Two strikes and you're out. So frustrating.

I have my new electrician. He is the most knowledgeable and professional electrician I have ever met. You will not regret calling him, so call now! No need to keep looking, this is the guy to call.

Terrible customer service. I guess Tony is too busy for even a courtesy phone call.

I had a nice conversation and described my problem (outdoor outlet wasn't working). He gave me a good quote and we made an appointment. He even followed up with a text to ask for my address. So far so good.

On the day of the appointment (which I got home from work early to meet him), Tony did not show up. I texted and he said ""still in LA, can we do tomorrow"". They didn't even call to let me know they couldn't make it. But fine, I said sure, lets schedule for tomorrow.

The following day- no show again. I texted to see if he was still coming. No response.

What a rude thing to do. I would understand if he was busy or something else came up. I am very understanding of local businesses- I try to support them as much as possible. (by the way, still no reply).

If you make an appointment with these guys, you better not go out of your way because you never know if they are going to show up.

Yep, Tony is as good as it gets! I had an issue in my rental property with several outlets and a light switch out on one wall. I called him, left a message and received a call back in about 20 minutes. He said he would be out in 20 minutes. He went to the property and fixed the issue. I had tried turning the main breaker to the unit off and on again, but was not successful. My tenant and I forgot where the main breaker panel was in the house and did not check the individual ones. Tony graciously fixed the problem quickly and didn't even judge us for not knowing where it was in the house. I appreciate it very much as I spent several hours today trying to get someone to come and check on the issue for my tenant. I will definitely use Tony again and CERTAINLY recommend him! He also is local in my neighborhood and I like supporting local businesses.
