We had our air conditioner stop working. After the air conditioning company replaced the transformers, they determined we were not getting any power from the tranformer (furnace) to the air conditioning unit. The air conditioning company (Airforce) recommends the men at Shock U. I called them right after the air conditioning company left and left a message. Mark text me and we got in touch the next morning and he arrived exactly when he said he would arrive (first thing that morning). He rearranged his schedule so he could fix the problem as soon as possible. He quickly determined that the air conditioning company was correct. It was impossible to install the new wires where the old wires were run (the furnance it located on the second floor and the air conditioning unit is outside on the first floor. He found a way to run the wires outside and down to the air conditioning unit and now we have it working. His price was very fair for the amount of work he did. I would highly recommended him to anyone.

If you need an electrician. . .
After months of electrical issues and inability to get contractors, we had a certain company come out and diagnose that we needed a new electrical panel--a job that would be complicated by a need to connect the panel with the water main on the other side of the house. Total estimate was over $10k. Given that is sounded plausible, we have zero electrical experience, and our daughter needs electricity in her room especially while she is Zooming school. . .we blinked, gulped and said ""okay.""
When I mentioned this to a friend, she ran it by her electrician. He was unavailable but recommended Shock U Electric out of West Hills. Even though he does not normally work on Saturdays, Marc thought the number was SOOOO high; he came out and looked at it today. (complete with mask!) He did NOT see any signs of the wear that the first guy told us. He DID find a faulty breaker. He replaced the breaker and installed a new WIFI enabled sprinkler panel and explained all of the work and how's and why's on the spot for under $500. (and assured us that even if we did need a new panel it would be less than half the first quote)

My father needed some emergency repairs done as a power surge had damaged some outlets. Marc came by and took care of everything in about 45 minutes time. He is great, explains everything in detail, good prices, and works very cleanly.
