We needed our GFI outlet changed in our bathroom and Norm from Shining Light was able to come out right away and fix it within minutes. I tried calling other companies but only got the voicemail and they didn't return my call until hours after Norm had already fixed the outlet. I had a busy day planned, so having someone who is efficient was a plus!

I gave Shining Lighting Electric a call two days ago and set up an appointment to get a outlet installed. Norm needed a picture of where the outlet would go and I sent it. A text was returned and I was told he would work me in this afternoon. At 4:30 pm Norm had not contacted me so I texted him. Norm's response, ""Running super late, will 6:30 am tomorrow work?"" What happened to all of the five star Yelp reviews? I took a half day of vacation for this guy and he could not even inform me that he would not show up? I understand that Norm probably stacks several jobs a day. I do not understand why Norm could not have called and told me the situation. I don't know if Norm's work is any good and I will not find out. This is not a professional business. And it is a shame that a potential customer has to deal with Norm.

We have used Shining Light several times. They have responded almost immediately for an urgent issue and have done repairs and upgrades at our home over the years. The latest project was the installation of a line for the car charger. Norm is prompt, honest and very reasonable.

Norm is one of the best electricians I have had the pleasure to work with. I called him up in the morning and later that afternoon the issue was solved. He was able to resolved our issue in less than an hour, which is something the previous electrician was not able to do.
