Norm, Rey, and the team did a great job rewiring my home and adding fixtures. I have an old 1920's home with old knob and tube wiring. Called norm a month ago to get an estimate and he came the same day! His confidence with the rewire and patience with explaining details to me is what made me go with him. Once we scheduled the date to start, the crew came at 7 am sharp every day until the job was done. They made small holes in the walls for the rewire instead of gutting out everything like others would have. I am happy I made the decision to go with Shining Light.

After the power went out in half of my house, on a Saturday, Norm took my call, asked me several diagnostic questions and ultimately referred me to call Southern California Edison as he believed it might be on their end. This was not something that I would've even thought of since I had, some power, and as a relatively new homeowner, this was a vital lesson for me going forward. Norm did take the time to schedule of his guys to come out on a Sunday morning for half the price I was quoted from two other companies, but ultimately the time Norm took on the phone call, equipped me with the info I needed to Elevate this to SCE. It's not often you come across a company, so honest because he could've easily charged me a diagnostic fee. If that's what his goal was I'm saving his number and giving it to my neighbors due to his generosity and honesty.

After being stood up by another electrician on 2 separate days, I contacted Norm (recommended by a neighbor) who fit me into his day within 2 1/2 hours for a breaker that was switching off. He quickly discovered that breaker and another next to it had barely inserted wiring causing them to overheat. This whole panel was installed by a contractor 9 years earlier that also didn't bother to connect a whole house surge protector I bought, they just placed it in the box and tucked the wires behind others! Norm set every thing straight, he even contacted the surge protector manufacturer to consult on installing that for me! He was very fast and even showed up during the COVID-19 pandemic with a mask! It wasn't a big job but he treated it with great respect and I really appreciate it! Thank you Norm!

I have to say this fine gentleman got me a quote to install a 240v outlet to my garage during a rainy day and came out great. I wanted to have a dryer in my garage and his prices were more than fair compared to trying to get a gas line done.
