Norm was amazing. I was remodeling my kitchen and needed some electrical help and Norm was able to fit me in the next day. He showed up on time, did great work, and was so kind and professional. The space was cleaned up when he finished and everything looks great and that isn't always the case with most electricians. I highly recommend him to everyone.

I saw the great reviews for Norm on Yelp and left a message for him about installing an Electric Vehicle charging station. He called me back immediately. I live in West LA, which is unfortunately outside of Norm's service area, but he was willing to walk me through what fees I should expect to pay an electrician for the job I described. This guy comes as advertised. Installed a pool light for me. He did an excellent job. Called him on Monday, the light was installed by Tuesday. Great price, quick, honest, reliable pretty much what everyone else said in their reviews. Thanks Norm.

We had Norm here today to do a series of electrical work on our condo. We had agreed on what work and ballpark price ahead of time.

He arrived within the timeframe he'd promised, and brought an assistant with him to speed the process up. Within minutes, the two were already tackling all issues.

Norm assessed one of the issues I had and politely suggested we don't do it, that it wasn't necessary (which is a great show of honesty in my opinion!). Another one (a faulty outlet) turned out to be working fine (somehow), but he did check thoroughly before moving on.

They then addressed the two main issues we had: changed the light fixture on our dining room, and fixed a non-working ceiling light on our bedroom - both done quickly and efficiently. Norm also fixed a problem in our laundry room in 3 minutes - the vent and the power were connected in the same switch, making us always turn the vent on whenever we needed to use get in the windowless laundry room - that had been annoying us since we first moved!

In the end, their service was extremely friendly, polite, professional, fast, and he ended up charging us less than he'd originally estimated (we did add a tip as a thank you, of course!)

Will definitely be calling/emailing them for future electrical work here in Long Beach/Belmont Shore!

I'm giving Norm 5 stars because there was a bit of non commitment on my part because I was waiting on a second party to get back to me. I let Norm know and he was very nice about it. Sent him a text asking if he could still do it and he came right over did the job and knocked 10 bucks off.

I hired Shining LIght to install an outside light on my house. Norm came by the day after I called to give an estimate, and Jose did a great job of installing that afternoon. He was very respectful, no damage inside or outside, and the work was done in a timely manner. I would hire them again without hesitation.
