Called Thursday late afternoon for a GFCI problem and 8 [dead] outlets . Friday at 8am Vince was at my doorstep as scheduled. One hour later the needed connection issues were resolved. Vince was knowledgable and professional. The GFCI was caput and Vince quickly figured the rest out. Worth the price they quoted me over the phone the day before. Shield is on my ""saved list"" for any future projects above my pay grade. PS another company couldn't or wouldn't come out for 7 days.

We had a problem with a circuit breaker; all of the recommended fixes didn't work. So, we contacted Shield Electrical Solutions and heard back from them within 30 minutes and scheduled an appointment within 24 hours. Service, work, and professionalism were all outstanding, and the cost was very reasonable. Communication also really stands out with this company. If we ever need other electric work done, we will use Shield. Based on our experience, we highly recommend them to others.

Amador and the team at Shield Electrical are the most reliable, honest and capable electricians I've ever worked with. We are a pure EV car family and when our charger went down I immediately called Amador. He was on the job right away and went the extra mile to fix it right. Got up the other morning and saw that the GFCI outlet in my kitchen had switched off. It wouldn't reset, either. My first thought was that the outlet had gone bad, so I went to Home Depot and bought another one. Once I pulled the old one out of the wall, I immediately saw that the wires were burned and melted. That's not good, and I wasn't comfortable trying to do more with it at that point. I jumped on Yelp and looked for an electrician. Saw the multiple positive reviews for Shield Electric, so I gave them a call. Amador answered and told me that he could have someone out later that afternoon, within about 2 hours. Efrain arrived a couple of hours later and jumped right into it. He determined that the problem was likely a loose connection. It was fortunate that I had bought a new GFCI, as he had installed his last one on his previous job. He cut out the burned wires, spliced in some new wire, and was done in less than an hour. When he was done, he told me that Amador would call later to handle the billing. That was something different that I've never experienced before, but when Amador called and told me that the bill was just the $75 he had quoted me for the service call, I was happy to pay it.
I can handle some DIY things, but I also know what I don't know and when to call for help. Now I have someone I can call for electrical help when I need it. I'll keep Shield Electric's number at the ready for the next emergency.

What you're looking for in an electrician is someone who is accountable. We had Shield out to do some minor work on our back patio and when we had questions, they answered promptly and even came back to make an adjustment, free of charge. In a world of pretenders, Shield is the real-deal!
