Another company that cannot make appointments. I waited so long, I was able to do the job myself.
This is another company in Comanche that is worth passing up.

I am new to the area, building a small home. I bought a new Pioneer mini split air conditioning unit on the Internet, and I need a ""licensed professional"" for its simple installation. The manufacturer's website and the YouTube information videos I watched indicate about a 2-3 hour average installation time, with nothing very technical to it.
I've always tried to ""buy local"" whenever possible, so I chose Comanche's only listed AC company for the installation of my unit. I drove to their office, gave my information to the nice office lady, and explained what I had and what I needed. She assured me that they were familiar with mini split units, installed them routinely, would be happy to accommodate me, and that a technician would call later to get me on their schedule.
A week and a half went by without my hearing from anyone, so I dropped by Sheetz' office again, thinking maybe she had copied my number wrong. She apologized for the delay and told me that a service tech would contact me ASAP to arrange a time for my installation. (As we were talking, I noticed a uniformed employee lounging around in the area behind the office, wondered why we couldn't just arrange it then.)
Again, no call after more than a week.
So, for the third attempt I decided to phone rather than visiting their office. Mr. Sheetz himself (who I suspect was the man I saw hanging out during the second visit) got on the phone and spent a few minutes telling me how busy they were. He said he wouldn't be able to do my job, couldn't possibly work me in. When I asked why, he said that ""maybe if it was a Carrier unit he'd think about it"". (BS!) I suspect he'd rather be spending his time on a big high dollar job where he could make a nice profit on the materials. I always judge a business by how they serve their smaller customers.
The result of my experience with Sheetz is that I wasted several weeks of my time (in mid summer!) because he was ""too busy"" to spare two minutes for a short courtesy call to tell me he didn't want my business.
I guess this is how you can afford to treat your customers when you're blessed with the luxury of a monopoly in a small town.
Now I have to start from scratch, find a competent AC installer in a neighboring town, and there'll probably be more travel time than actual installation time involved. Thanks a bunch, Mr. Sheetz.
I didn't do business with Sheetz Mechanical. And I wouldn't.
