Sharp Development of SWFL seems like a decent contractor at first; until they're not! We were generally very pleased with the progress and quality of their work. They completed 90% of the contracted work and then disappeared. No explanation and would not return multiple calls, texts, or emails. We held back funds for punch-list items but I guess he didn't need the money. Which is interesting seeing how I received multiple phone calls from our countertop vendor that we (the customer) owed money for our countertop even though it was included in the contracted price with Sharp Development. We demonstrated to the vendor we were not responsible for his outstanding invoice. If you ask to have something changed or you're unhappy with something you get attitude from the owner, Patrick Lewis. They did not install our generator, complete the tiling in the kitchen, adjust the hood vent over the range (it was set too low), left electrical work undone (wires exposed), the electrical panel is mapped incorrectly (thankfully no one was electrocuted), and our permit with the city is still open since 2/2022. Electrical will likely not pass inspection. I have copies of emails, contract, voice mails, and photos to substantiate all. This is the first we've seen or heard of Sharp Development of SWFL since they abandoned us over two years ago. Clearly he's trying to 're-invent' his company.
Patrick Lewis will likely respond by saying we were 'unreasonable', 'demanding', 'crazy'; the same things he would tell us about a customer he was doing work for around the corner from us in Punta Gorda Isles.
My warning, 'BUYER BEWARE!'
Patrick, come finish the job!

the restoratins on my house suck. Tile in the bathrooms not even. Wooden floors have many flaws. Not even at places and dents in them. Looks like it was done by a handy man who just needed a job. Painting crapy and the owner has a real bad attitude. Can't even reason with him. Wish he would come and see the shit job done.refused to pay the balance and he came with a lien on my house if I didn't pay him. In all of this I was dealing with the the death of my my husband and I had to get the work done because my house got flooded. Had plumbing done and he was to do the restoration. The materials he used were cheep, cheep, cheep. I am kicking myself in the ass for using them.

We hired Sharp Development to do remodeling including installing Engineered Hardwood flooring that we had purchased. Old carpeting was removed and the hardwood was installed. Inexperienced laborers were left unsupervised much of the time. Excessive amounts of adhesive was used and tracked on the floor throughout the house. No floor prep was completed, no moisture test and no moisture barrier was put down before installation. Over the next year black stains appeared and the floor began to buckle throughout the house. We contacted the owner, Pat Lewis and he said that he would get back to us. Over the course of two months we sent 5 messages with pictures to Mr Lewis and he never replied. We had to contract with another company to remove the ruined hardwood floor and install a new floor at a cost of over$16,000. We would never recommend this company. They use unskilled labor and do not stand behind their product.
