I contacted Sal to handle a few handyman tasks around my new home: securing a toilet, fixing a tool shed door, replacing some difficult lightbulbs, and removing a vintage security system and patching the walls after doing so, along with a few other odd jobs.

The good: Sal did a good and professional job, though he did forget to bring some supplies for the toilet securing job and had to go to the hardware store during the job. He handled the job thereafter and his work looked good and I was pleased with it.

The bad: Sal was over an hour late for the job. Obviously, delays happen, but he didn't contact me to tell me he'd be late, I had to call him to see what the situation was. Sal was also late for the appointment we made for him to come to my house to provide the estimate. Again, while I understand that things happen and people can run late, the professional thing to do is to call or text the customer to let them know of this face.

While Sal did a good job overall, the tardiness on both occasions that he came to our house prevent me from giving a higher rating.

I am super happy with Sal's work so far! He repaired a bamboo floor for us in our newly remodeled home. What a humble guy. He came out a couple of times, once with someone who had more expertise than him. The job looks great. Sal is coming back next week to do more repairs. I'll update this review

Excellent all around! Sal built out our pantry and we were very happy with the final design. He provided me with a receipt for the materials and was very thorough in his attention to detail. Will use him again for future needs.

Sal assembled a full size bed and disposed of two twin beds for me. He was able to do this in less than 4 hours as well as fix a busted electrical outlet in the house and change all my lightbulbs. I would definitely use him again for handyman and electrical jobs around the house. He is very polite, friendly, and honest.

Really professional handyman! He helped me fixed my doors so that they became very easy to close and lock. He also helped me hang some pictures to the wall, and fixed some big crack between the floor and the wall. Definitely recommend him to others!

He arrived early to assess the areas in our house that needed attention.
Sal was courteous and fixed a unhinged window in our breakfast area and repaired a lighting issue in our closet. He was Great!

Fantastic work. They arrived in time (a little early) and did a great job... Door had a busted jam and the trim had fallen off. Now it looks as new and the door latches better than before.

Sal is fantastic!

I had a long list of little things that needed doing--painting, picture hanging, drain repair, ceiling light installs, etc.--and Sal did it all. Quickly and accurately. Sal also spotted problems (a loose hinge on a cabinet door, among others), and quickly fixed them.

When asked, he made good suggestions. For instance, I had matte paint in my kitchen (fail on my part). He suggested a glossier finish, and offered to go to Home Depot to pick up a can for me.

His price is incredibly fair. When I got quotes on this project, Sal was lower than anyone else.

Sal's a busy guy, so a little re-scheduling was necessary. It was no problem at all. To the people who gave Sal a low rating for issues that inconvenienced them, shame on you. With the crazy environment we live in these days, everyone has to be a little flexible. Sal's worth it. My home agrees!

I was looking for someone to power wash and seal my beautiful stamped and colored cement. It is almost 2 years old and the sealer was wearing off. I asked Sal if they had experience with stamped and colored cement. He said they did and maybe they do but they didn't have experience with cement like mine. I found out that when they power wash, they use a scrubbing machine. This worked great on my older, standard cement. But the scrubbing and washing took the color off of some of the stamped cement that has a lot of sun exposure. There are now grey areas and the cement looks much worse than before they worked on it. Since there is now sealer on all everything I will need to wait a year or two for it to wear off and then spend 1000s of dollars to have it repaired.

Salvador is amazing!!! He put 2 chandeliers in our home and did an amazing job with both! He also hung an outdoor lamp in our balcony and put a shelf in our bathroom- he does it all! He is very meticulous, courteous and overall does amazing work. We're so happy with the results we'll be hiring him for many more projects to come.
