Sal was so kind. He fixed our door that was creaking by shaving it off and cleaned up the patches after. He also fixed our toilet and our sink faucet. He's a very gentle spirited guy with yes, a great attitude to help. His price is reasonable as well. I would definitely keep him as my go-to guy for work around the house. Thank you so much, Sal!

- fixing wall texture
- cover over old vents due to new HVAC system
- cover over old heating intake - fix wall, paint, etc.
- remove an old cat door and repair wall
- install a new outlet

I too, had him come out to do a consult but then when the time came to have him install and do the work, he was unavailable (even though he said he lives in San Mateo where I live and that he could come back with little notice). Luckily, his competitor Jay Handyman was available and Jay got the job done.

Sal recently did a complete removal of my kitchen -- no small feat since it was a kitchen from the 80's with a very solid concrete and tile counter.
He provided a free on-site consultation and kept to both the quote and the timetable that he gave me. Unlike many handymen, he is licensed, bonded, and insured. His work was of the highest quality -- no damage to any of the appliances and he even re-textured the walls where the backsplash had been removed from the drywall. When one of my decrepit sink feed lines began leaking the night after he finished, he came out the next day (Saturday!) to put a cap on it for me. Even two weeks after the job, when I was looking for the screws needed to remount the microwave, he was still immediately responsive and told me that I could find them on top of the refrigerator. Throughout everything he was incredibly polite, calm, and attentive to every concern and question.
I have no hesitation in recommending him very highly!

Sal came by today to re-caulk a shower stall and the kitchen sink and to reseal the kitchen pull-out faucet. The job wasn't a big one -- especially in comparison to the remodeling work that Sal does -- but he treated it as if it were.

Sal is extremely precise, and it's obvious he takes pride in his work. His rates are very reasonable, and I got the feeling that no job is too unimportant for Sal.

I sense that Sal is a man of integrity -- an important quality for one to consider when bringing a stranger into the home -- and I will definitely call him the next time a repair is needed.
