Josh was extremely responsive, quick and was able to work within our schedule to get a few things done around the house. We needed to do the following: 1) install 4 prong plug, 2) change x2 light fixtures in bathroom & living room.

Josh was provided us with a very fair estimate, had great communication, and was able to quickly reschedule with us when one of my fixtures didn't arrive in the mail in time. From the first quote/site visit, he was able to fit us in just a few days later.

I would 10000% recommend, especially getting some crazy quotes that were almost 4x the cost and the other company wanted to charge me $200 just to ""provide a quote"". Highly commend and will certainly reach out to him again for our home needs!

Don't make a mistake, contact Josh first. I needed an electrician to install an EV charger and contacted 4 business including Shaka Electrical. Two companies replied 1 week later with high cost and Josh promptly replied the same day with the best price. He advised to send pics of the electrical panel, EV location and approximate distance for both. After texting info, Josh promptly replied with a quote. His quote was very detailed for materials and labor. I was impressed with the detailed quote and his price beats others by far. I was concerned not seeing any reviews on his company, but that fear went away after speaking with Josh. He also checked the job site before beginning. He is very flexible and will work with you to your satisfaction. On the install day, I was further impressed with his planning and workmanship of the installation. Watching Josh work shows he is a pro at his profession. After completion, I was very satisfied with his work. His work was clean, detailed, breakers labeled and he removes all his trash. Bottom line, you will get a honest, knowledgeable, and high quality electrician at a very reasonable price.

Shaka Electrical was super easy to work with and very professional. They helped install an electrical outlet in my bathroom for a bidet that I bought. I've gotten different quotes in the Kapolei, Ewa, Waipahu area with some ridiculous pricing but Shaka Electrical was very fair and did a great job. It's hard figuring out who is good for the price here in Hawaii and so glad I found you guys. Service was great and did everything with such great care. Professionalism, efficiency, and great pricing! Josh was able to provide an estimate over the phone and within a few days, the fans and light fixture was installed! We were impressed that he even brought a small vacuum to clean up the mess. Each individual remote control for the fans were properly labeled to ensure that there were no issues between the receiver and remote. Highly recommend. I met Josh through a prior engagement earlier this year and decided to contract him again for additional projects.

I recently hired him to install a NEMA 14-50 240V outlet in preparation for delivery of my new electric car. Josh provided a timely estimate with full breakdown of parts and labor. Due to the way my home was built, he provided guidance and several options on where I can save money on labor yet still achieve the results I am after. Josh completed the work in under 4 hours and left my home clean. In addition to electrical work, he was kind enough to do some light painting to appease my HOA. True professional! About year ago, Josh installed an electrical outlet at my home to recharge my Tesla.
