Rob helped us get the most out of our design ideas. He measured, studied, and tweaked our ideas and came up with a plan and color samples that he gave us to present to the HOA for approval. It sailed through and he came out and demolished and removed the old structure, repaired what was needed, and built the beautiful new pergola. The finished product is terrific, with good communication and professionalism, and price was competitive. We're very happy!

I had a very positive experience with Shade Builders. Robert was very responsive to my endless questions. He also gave me great money saving suggestions and worked with my HOA to give them what was needed. The people who worked with Robert were terrific, nice and very accommodating. I would highly recommend them if you need a patio cover. They all were the best and very professional.

We contracted Shade Builders for our patio cover project. We are so happy with the entire process. Robert Bambusch came to give us an estimate, which included the requested electrical work. He also was with us to present the paperwork to the HOA. After approval, he quickly ordered the materials. Once they were delivered, the work began quickly. The size of our cover made for a 3 day install. The 2 guys who did the install did a fantastic job. They did the cover and the electrical work. We have 2 fans, 5 lights and 3 plug boxes. The patio looks amazing!

So glad we chose Shade Builders to install our patio!.ROB BAMBUSCH is a great guy. He was patient and helpful in assisting us with designing. He made a few trips to our place in Blythe to scout out the yard and offer his input. Wish we would have done this year's ago. Glad we lost those shade trees...this is so much nicer and no upkeep.Good price and first class materials. Thanks Rob. I feel very confident in sending referrals your way!

I am highly disapointed they seen ok at first ..but its all about the money. I payed in full for my project. And lm still waitng for a call back so they can finish what they started...so sad..let see what the state broad thinks....

When he responds he does good work. Communicating is a real problem. He offers a ""LIFE TIME WARRANTEE' BUT that only works if you can talk to him. Rob is nice in person did a good job and the price was fine. Just don't understand WHY IT is so hard for follow up? Too bad he does have a great product.

I've read a lot of reviews that were unfavorable but I hired Shade Builders and had no issues what so ever. Yes Rob's business manners are a bit unorthodox but my pergola came out beautiful and the only issue I had, being slightly off center was dealt with immediately and to my satisfaction. The job was not done continuously until completion but it was worked on almost every day and was completed within the given time frame.So...no complaints from me.

First off, let me state that the quality and price for the product is very good. I have no complaints with the overall installation. BUT, customer service, you might as well forget receiving it. I have called 7 times(OR MORE) to get Robert out to fix a leak with my canopy (1 tiny leaK0. He stopped by 1 time, to understand the issue(on a friday) and said he'd be back next monday to resolve........Hi Robert where might you be? This is more frustrating that looking for Waldo!!!! I've left messages, talked to Sandy, talked directly to Robert! The last straw prior to my post today was a supposed stop by this AM to fix the issue...........huh......must be in a different timezone for morning.

So, like the price, overall installation ok. Customer Service to fix some issues - FORGET it, and to me Customer Service is Primary for any business, hence my 1 star rating. Be more than happy/remove if you ever decide to show up as promised.
