I finally purchased an electric car and needed an EV charger. Well I'm cheap to say the least and got about 14 bids. SGV responded quicker than anyone else, arrived when they said they would (less than half arrived within 30 minutes of the appointment time) and they were very professional. Sean explained what I would need over the phone. When Darren arrived he showed me exactly what would be done and the best placement for my charger. There was one other bid that was lower than SGV but the electrician wasn't able to answer the simplest questions, was not professional, and just seemed like a risk. Went with SGV made my appointment with in 2 days and done. Everything is great I would highly recommend SGV Electric. I'll need an upgraded panel this summer and SGV will certainly be my choice for the job.

Once again Yelp to the rescue. For days we've been hearing this loud humming sound behind the wall. Mrs. finally says find/call a good electrician before the house burns down. So I go to Yelp and begin the search. I'm looking for an electrician who's available on a Saturday night. Low and behold I find SGV Electric. I call and immediately Sean picks up the phone. I describe the problem and he begins to ask me questions to help troubleshoot the problem. We narrowed it down to the doorbell ringer on the wall which was the source of the humming sound and that the cause was a stuck doorbell button. Sean took the time and patiently walked me through the process of elimination to get to the root cause of the issue. This man is AMAZING. I told him that I needed to install a new RING doorbell to replace the defective doorbell outside and he started to explain the process and gave me the confidence to proceed. I have an avoidance to anything electrical that could kill me. He said I could even call him back if I have any questions. What a blessing Sean was in a time of need and uncertainty. If you have major electrical issues then look no further. Sean is the man you should call right away.

After our LADWP bill hit $2300 (!!!), Sean came out to do a full evaluation on our home and help identify what was causing the issue. He even came on a Sunday on short notice to squeeze us in despite his busy schedule. He was so patient and kind as we talked through our frustrations, and very methodical in his approach to identifying our power usage. He then sent an easy to understand summary outlining the issues and proposed resolutions, and recommended other vendors to help with HVAC issues. We were referred to Sean by our solar company. Overall we are so grateful to him for helping resolve our situation in such an expedient manner and highly recommend this business!

I needed an estimate for my electric vehicle 240 V plug to be installed in my garage. The company got proper permits for my house, scheduled an inspector to come by to inspect the quality professional work. Everything went smooth without me worrying about permits and inspections because it was all taken care of by the company. They were professional and responsive. Sean was very professional and installed a 240V outlet and separate electrical panel. He provided a formal quote and invoice that was important as it was needed to apply for rebates. The price reasonable and competitive; I sought several quotes. He pulled permits and coordinated with Edison. He did the work in a timely manner and even added a small extra freebie. He came back to clean up some of the work after it was already approved by the city. He also informed me of a rebate that I did not know I was entitled to and was able to save me even more money. I will definitely hire him again if I need electrical services in the future.
