Pedro was helpful, professional and friendly throughout the entire process. I started with a request for information on Yelp for an EV Charger installation and we completed the rest of the communication via text and email. Pedro was fair and transparent about the cost involved, what factors to consider when making decisions and what the process would be. During the day of the install, Pedro and his team (Rene and Edgar) were quick and efficient as they installed a NEMA 14-50 JuiceBox charger. We also had them install another plug in our garage. The owner of SFE Electric, Pedro is extremely knowledgeable. I needed to rewire my house because I had live k&t and wanted new insulation in my attic. Pedro gave me an estimate which I felt was a good value. The work took a few weeks. Now I have new wiring that is safe and more outlets. I also decided to upgrade my electric panel from 100 to 200 which will add value to my home. Extremely happy with my choice to have SFE Electric complete my project. Highly recommend him.

Since I now own an EV, I needed to have a wall connector installed at my home. I needed to find a legit, insured certified and licensed electrician to install my wall connector.

SFE Electric is owned by Pedro, and is a family local business who has reasonable prices, stellar professionalism and expedient installation. Pedro is certified by Tesla, so he knows what he's doing and will install your wall connector legitly, meaning he will ensure there is a permit for this. Another good thing witb Pedro is that he will request the permit and coordinate the inspecation after installation. That was one of the main reasons I hired Pedro.

The wall connector took a few hours to install but they did it professionally. The wires that connected the wall connector to the panel were hidden with a solid, metal pipe so it doesn't look messy.

Prices were very reasonable which included installation as well as Pedro coordinating the permits and inspection.

I am very happy to finally find an electrician I can rely on.

I needed a Level 2 charger installed (got myself a Mini Cooper SE). I live in a townhouse community lol (lots of rules, strict HOA) also on the older side. Pedro delivered. He passed their requirements. He was very helpful and honest in his assessments. He even figured out a safe way to install the charger without getting the house rewired for a higher amperage panel (installing a DCC-12 unit). Or something to that effect (I forgot the electrical jargon he used lol). He took care of the paperwork, city inspection etcetera. You can tell that his company is very good because he seem to be in high demand. He is busy but he responds quickly via email and text (I don't really like phone calls who even does that anymore lol). Very friendly guy. Pedro is the owner but his associates are good too. Sorry I forgot the name of his associate. Found SFE Electric here in Yelp. Thanks Pedro. Great job!

After calling several companies for a quote to install a level 2 Tesla wall charger in a multidwelling unit in Alameda, I decided to go with SFE Electric because owner, Pedro, gave me the courtesy of meeting me in person and explaining the process and the possible challenges for my specific situation. It is not always the case that one is able to deal directly with the business owner, but I found Pedro straight forward, reasonably priced, and honest. In similar situations, I've had other contractors completely ghost me, this was not the case with Pedro, who would always respond within a reasonable time frame, keeping me updated through the process throughout. His employee's work was efficient and clean, and installed exactly to Tesla's specifications. SFE is fully licensed, insured and bonded. Important if getting a county rebate. Pedro personally submitted the calculations with the county and pulled permit, he arrived again on inspection day, which of course passed with flying colors. It's such a nice thing to have a reliable, communicative and honest electrician close by, thanks Pedro!

I checked out all the reviews on several different electricians and was impressed by SFE's ratings and comments. I hired them to replace old kitchen balance lights, old over the sink light and a dining area light and replace it all with recessed lighting.

I can say all the 5 star ratings were spot on and I added mine. Great work, communication, timeliness and a fair price. Pedro was efficient and responsive and very easy to work with and talk to. I will use them again! I'm so pleased with the lighting and their service. I can highly recommend SFE to anyone.
