I checked out all the reviews on several different electricians and was impressed by SFE's ratings and comments. I hired them to replace old kitchen balance lights, old over the sink light and a dining area light and replace it all with recessed lighting.

I can say all the 5 star ratings were spot on and I added mine. Great work, communication, timeliness and a fair price. Pedro was efficient and responsive and very easy to work with and talk to. We needed two sub panels replaced in our home due to a known defect with the brand. Because we knew this would be a costly replacement, we called several electricians to look at the job. Pedro was by far the most knowledgeable and most pleasant to work with. He instantly recognized the issue with our old panels, he knew the electrical code better than others we spoke to (one electrician wanted to put our panel in the bathroom, which Pedro immediately knew would not pass inspection), and his pricing was reasonable - not the most expensive but also not suspiciously cheap.

The work itself was done quickly and cleanly. The crew patched up everything nicely - they even cleaned up holes previously left by less reputable electricians who have worked on our home. Pedro himself took the time to accurately label each circuit, which was a huge feat given the amount of stairs in our home.

All in all, we were very pleased with SFE and would recommend them to anyone.

Pedro came and did the EV charger installation in my house. I lived in a condo complex so I would have needed to upgrade my panel in order to install a level 2 charger. Pedro was able to propose a way more practical alternative and now I am happily charging my EV at home. Straightforward pricing is a major plus as well!

Pedro saved the day! We'd been waiting for months to turn on our solar panel system but per PG&E, the main panel was not up to code and so Pedro and SFE Electric was recommended to us by the roofing company. We're glad we went with Pedro.
He came by, knew all the codes immediately and what needed to be done. He walked through the house, examined all the panels, gave us an estimate of how much it would cost. We compared his estimate with two other electricians and it was comparable. Given the good word of mouth from the roofers, we went with Pedro.
He handled the permitting process. When it comes to working on the main panel, PG&E will disconnect the electricity to the house on an assigned day. He and his team finished all the work which included moving the main panel unit, re-housing another sub panel from inside the closet to the main panel, and doing a hard wire install for an EV charger in our garage all in one day.
He then came back to meet the inspectors when it was inspection time.
Top notch service all around!
He did not go over his estimate either.
I plan on using SFE Electric for future electrical work.
