I possess 35 years of background in home improvement services, including electrical work, plumbing tasks, and fine carpentry, primarily in older homes and apartments. I’m familiar with the problems found in older structures: ELECTRICAL: knob and tube electrical wiring, missing grounded circuits, and excessive circuits. PLUMBING ISSUES: old supply pipes and century-old faucets are no challenge. CARPENTRY: off-kilter door frames, main door security hardware, faulty door knobs and locks, windows that don’t function, etc.
