The quality of work we received for the installation of a shower was incredibly poor. The drywall was left in shambles, the trim was torn off and wasn't replaced and worst of all the water didn't drain into the pipe instead it was leaking into the sand creating a hole under the house.
We were given a quote for the entire job but was shocked when he said he couldn't install the door, didn't offer to fix the trim he removed and told us to get the drywall and he'd come back to fix it. He never even called to find out if we got the drywall!! And we were forced to return parts he didn't need vs him retuning them himself.
We have found out he holds no license with the state of Florida and just recently registered as an LLC this year.
There was no written contract for which this job required due to the price, this I just discovered. Lastly, he's threatened us with a lien as I'm disputing final payment.
We had to finish the drywall, trim and repair the drain ourselves in order for the shower to be used. He knew this was a bathroom used daily by our grandson yet stated ""it's only a guest bathroom"" trying to minimize the job.
Integrity he does not have. He doesn't keep his word despite telling me ""I'm a man of my word"". Yet canceled on short notice twice forcing us to change our plans in order to be sure we're home.
