A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
I used the ""Pro Referral Program"" from Home Depot to find an electrician.
Service One Electric gave me an estimate for the following:
01-To run wire through the attic to an upstairs 5' closet.
02-Mount a fixture inside the closet above the door to face the back wall.
03-A fixture 3000K, not too bright because I have sensitive eyes.
04-Add a 3rd touch switch next to my existing 2 switches on the wall.
05-And this needed to be completed within 10 days from their estimate.

I hired them and they did as follows:
01-They did run wires through the attic to this closet.
02-They did not mount the fixture on the wall. They mounted to ceiling.
03-Their fixture was much too bright...two rows of 4000K. (good grief)
04-Instead of adding an additional switch, they changed 1 switch to 2 halves.
05-They did complete this within the 10 days.

I explained nicely to the son what his father and I discussed and he was very agreeable to replace the much too bright fixture with no problem. I decided to just leave the ceiling mount and wall switch alone simply because it would be too much problem for them to change.
He requested payment and assured me he would be happy to replace the fixture. This was just a matter of miscommunication between he and his father. So I paid him.
And after many phone calls, leaving messages each time, he refuses to return my calls.

I have never made a formal complaint on any contractor until now. I am hoping this does not happen to anyone else. I give Service One Electric one star because this is awful!

This father and son team is a VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

Called 30 minutes before scheduled appointment, arrived on time, clean and professional. Jermey was able to troubleshoot the problem and had new gfi outlet on his truck and made repairs and went above and beyond to check breakers and tighten all connections.

I called at least 7 companies that claimed same day service. On a Friday at 3:pm every company had an answering service, when I found out a circuit breaker would not reset.
My lights were out. No one would send an Electrican out. All I got was Monday, or we are waiting for one out in the field to call them back.
I called Jeremy, a real electrician. Answered the phone, I told him my problem, and re assured he will be here today and have me a time. As, my cellphone was dying from lack of charging. I contacted him, to call, because I had it charging in another area that had power.
He responded, and gave me a time, he was on the way. He was so quick, in repairing the problem. I was/ am so thankful. I saw how to repair it on YouTube. I work in the medical field, and know how to stay in my lane. After treatment on novice. That has had injuries.
