Casey Hargis with Service City Electric just took my 80 year old mother for 'a ride' with his service visit and up-selling, and final bill. I arrived on scene to find out a simple bathroom heater installation became a $538 monster bill (he was even drawing up plans for a complete electrical overhaul on the house that would end up costing her over $300 monthly). I can't abide having innocent elderly ladies being taken advantage of. He immediately understood I wasn't 'buying what he was up-selling' and left without providing me a look at his invoice of radical charges. He even charged $91.00 to install a simple battery powered smoke alarm! Mind you this wasn't connected to house power... a battery powered alarm from Home Depot! Shame on you Casey. Shame.

Very prompt and professional. As a Realtor in the area I am in need of reliable contractors for repairs and estimates. Everett went out of his way to meet with me despite having a very busy schedule in the time frame I needed. The estimate I received was well priced and explained thoroughly. excellent customer service and they always answer the phone.

We called Service City to repair some wires that were accidentally cut because they were not done up to code initially. George arrived quickly, explained the process and completed the job on time and in a very professional manner. Will call Service city again in Frisco! Thanks George!

Our smoke detector about 20 feet up started going off in the middle of the night. We called Service City Electric and they sent out Casey Hargis. Casey did a great job. He told me my options to replace the smoke alarm, found a tall ladder, and made a trip to find the replacement brand I wanted. I am very happy with the service, and will call Service City again. It cost a lot more to replace the whole alarm, but was worth it with a 10 year battery so I should not have to deal with it again for a long time. He also caught a lizard (yuck!) for my son. My son is delighted too.

Had them come look at our Churches electric project need. They charged us for a service call $69 which I thought was wrong in light of the potential $ to made on the project. Took the information and said they would get back to us within a week. Never heard from them again despite multiple calls and promises. Wasted 2 weeks with unmet promise. If it's a small issue then perhaps fine but if you need something done on a large scale go somewhere else. Customer service doesn't exist. At least tell the truth.

We recently used Service City Electric for the first time. On time - Danny was professional, he analyzed what needed to be done & gave us a quote. Very reasonable, very alert to protecting flooring and furniture. Knowledgeable and we are so pleased with him and this company.. We will use them again and highly recommend for your electrical needs!!! John & Beth Lowney, Frisco

I had them come out to our school to fix some lights and power to a thermostat. The techinician told us it would cost close to $500 to fix it, and he wasn't even sure that he knew what the problem was. I declined and called another provider instead, they fixed the problem for a small trip fee of $89.00. I felt like he didn't know what he was doing and was trying to make a large profit from a small issue.

Require a $69 fee just to show up and provide a quote. If you don't like the quote, you still have to pay the $69 fee. Couldn't even get them to give a ballpark quote without committing to the $69 fee. Wouldn't recommend.

In the heat of the summer they show up within an hour of me placing the call. They were professional, courteous and straight forward to deal with. They were responding to a home inspection deficiency and could have done what they wanted and instead advised me that there is no issue, safety or otherwise and charged me only the $49 service call fee. Honesty and integrity are key to me.

I paid these guys with a credit card over the phone. Two days later, all sorts of fraudulent charges started hitting my credit cards. I wouldn't recommend you pay them with credit card or your check.
