For over four decades, Kevin Comerford and his family have been fulfilling the heating and air conditioning demands of Northern California residents.
Kevin completed his studies at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1994.
Following his graduation, he came back to work in his family’s air conditioning and heating company.
After running the business for 25 years, his parents sold it to a $5 billion corporation based in Dallas, TX.
Kevin spent six years with that company before deciding to leave the corporate environment and establish a family-owned, client-centered business like his parents did in 1972.
This led him to establish Service Champions in 2002.
With these core values, Kevin's business has flourished, now employing over 200 team members and celebrating 18 years of service.
Currently, Service Champions provides services to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento area.
Kevin resides in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and three children.

Amanda provided 21 point service and noticed amps on start were too high. She suggested an item to add to the machine to lower high amp starts and increase life of the unit. Solution was effective. She also suggested coming back to check refrigerant pressures in warmer weather to accurate reading.

The fan motor for our air conditioner went out. Normally, I would have called Bonney Plumbing and Heating which I have done for the last 10 years but their level of customer service has changed so much this year, like making 2 appointments and never showed and argued with me about scheduling a specific time the third time around, I'm all done w them. We checked reviews and found Service Champions and we just can't stop saying WOWWWW!!! From the first contact, we immediately received a confirmation email for our appointment and then a follow-up. The day of the appointment, Samuel Munguia, showed up right on time, diagnosed the issue within minutes. He gave us a worst-case scenario estimate and then said he would work on finding us the best price for the part. He was successful in getting one almost 1/2 the cost of the estimate and arranged to have it shipped directly to our house so as not to slow down the process of getting the part installed. I received a copy of my payment and confirmation of the order via email within a few minutes. When the part shows up, we are to call the office and someone will come out right away and install. This company gives outstanding customer service and technical expertise from the beginning to the end of the process! I so much appreciate this great company!

He also gave me information regarding HVAC replacement and possible cost. He also checked the system to determine efficiency. He arranged for a free replacement consultation and service. So far, I'm very happy with Service Champions and would do business with them in the future.

Came out and told me my capacitor needed to be replaced on my 2 year old unit. Gave me a 500.00 quote for a 17.00 dollar part and 2 min instal. Said I could go to who installed it and they could go through the warranty process.

I called installer and he said ""That's a lie. Manufacturer is the who holds the warranty and they should be able to call The manufacturer and go through the warranty process.""

Tech then confirmed that and I just chose to pay the diagnose Fe and by the capacitor myself.

I own five homes and I've used five different companies throughout the years and all of them have been major disappointments.

One other company told me I needed a $700 part but it would just be better to replace my whole system because that part is hard to find.

I bought it on Amazon for 30.00 and installed myself, 3 minutes. 2 years later, running great.

I find it very hard to believe that these companies are not supporting these very unethical practices.

This place is only interested in up selling. I requested a duct cleaning and tech stated that's not possible and I needed to replace whiole system at a cost of 8k. Called Bonney and they cleaned my duct the next day.
