For over four decades, Kevin Comerford and his family have been fulfilling the heating and air conditioning demands of Northern California residents.
Kevin completed his studies at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo in 1994.
Upon finishing his degree, he returned to help in his parents' heating and air conditioning business.
His parents sold the business to a major corporation in Dallas, TX, after 25 years of ownership.
Kevin spent six years with that company before deciding to leave the corporate environment and establish a family-owned, client-centered business like his parents did in 1972.
This led him to establish Service Champions in 2002.
With these principles at the forefront, Kevin's business has expanded to over 200 team members and has been operating for 18 years.
Today, Service Champions caters to homeowners throughout the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento.
He lives in Pleasanton, CA, with his wife and their three kids.

Now, it's over a year later and this business still junk mails out neighborhood. Called over a year ago and asked to be removed from their list... nothing happens.
Annie D.I've been using service champions for about 5 years. I pay the monthly fee to be a MVP member. It's worth EVERY PENNY. They offer discounts on certain things, emergency services and help to remind you of annual inspections. Amber F. came out today and did our check up. She was knowledgeable, quick and most important, I felt like she was competent and had our best interest in mind. At her suggestion, I plan to have her come out and check the duct work as we have an older home. She took her time to talk about duct efficiency and all the things we can do to get our utility costs down. Highly recommend this company. With people like Amber representing, I'm happy to invest in them.
We had Steve Mee come to our home last week to check on our A/C unit that had quit working for a few days in this heat. He was very nice and cordial but
certainly missed the mark by a long shot. He said we'd have to replace the
entire HVAC system at a cost of around $20,000. He talked a lot but didn't
fix the problem & said it was beyond repair. We told him we had a Home
Warranty & had to check with them before moving forward. The Home Warranty Co. sent a different HVAC company out who fixed it in less than 15
minutes for no money out of pocket and it's running great now. I think Steve
Mee was more into selling a new HVAC system and we didn't appreciate the
huge upsell! Unfortunately, I would not recommend this company.

Stephen Gilchrist came out today to help with the AC .
Our a/c stopped working a few days ago, of course during the hottest week of the summer. Service Champions was recommended by a friend who works in the hvac industry. I called and was offered an appt that same day! Amber came out earlier than the appt time and was able to diagnose the problem almost immediately, and she replaced the part and had our a/c working less than an hour later! Amber was very friendly and informative. Thank you Amber and Service Champions. We can feel the cool air flowing~

He showed me the options available, did not try to hard sell me on the more expensive options, and explained the differences clearly. His pleasant demeanor and professionalism made doing business with Service Champions a continued decision. Michael Kearney also deserves mention as he explained clearly the problem I had been observing.
Our AC was barely pushing out any air and we have had AC issues every summer for the last several years. This time of course it's in the middle of this heatwave it was difficult to find anyone with availability and service champions had the fastest time to pick up the phone and get me scheduled of the eight companies I called. They had great communication getting the service scheduled. My technician Donovan Meek was on time, profession and very friendly. Donovan was very thorough in his diagnosis which was absolutely necessary as we have a 70 years old house that has had a multitude of service providers touch our system and had made an absolute mess of it. Donovan was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing to figure out the issue. After he required my furnace and filled my coolant my AC has blown with more force and colder than it has been since we owned the home. The price was reasonable and the best part is the follow up the make sure their work was done correctly. With an old house it's the exact service you need to keep that peace of mind you haven't just blown a ton of money on the wrong fix. Thank you Donovan you are the GOAT!
I had an A/C issue over the weekend. I'm so glad Service Champions works Sundays.
They dispatched a technician named Donavon and he did an awesome job. It turned out to be a minor repair and he took care of it. Nice guy knew his stuff. Thanks.
Alyx from Service Champion came out to save us today! I called early afternoon & they had a tech out within a couple hours. A/C was blowing hot air & he diagnosed the issue quickly & did the necessary repairs & now the unit is working well again!
