For over four decades, Kevin Comerford and his family have been fulfilling the heating and air conditioning needs of Northern California residents.
In 1994, Kevin earned his degree from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
After graduation, he returned home to join his parents' air conditioning and heating business.
After 25 years of ownership, his parents sold the business to a large corporation in Dallas, TX.
After six years with the corporation, Kevin opted to step away from the corporate scene and start a family-run, customer-focused business like his parents did in 1972.
Thus, he founded Service Champions in 2002.
With these principles at the forefront, Kevin's business has expanded to over 200 team members and has been operating for 18 years.
Currently, Service Champions provides services to homeowners in the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay), South Bay, and Sacramento area.
Kevin makes his home in Pleasanton, CA, alongside his wife and three children.

service champions is without a doubt the worst inspection company I have ever contacted. I was trying to set up a simple real estate electrical inspection and instead I was met with incompetent workers who each had a different story and opinion of what their company actually does. one actually told me that they refused to do the inspection even though it is a service their company offers. when I asked to speak to a manager they wouldn't allow me to speak to one. do yourself a favor and go with another company. service champions is a joke!

OMG!!! This company is amazing and saved my life today. I have an Airbnb and as I was finishing the cleaning and walking out the door only 1 hr before my guests were to arrive when I realized the AC was not working. Panic!!! I called and right away I was talking to the nicest agent and booking a same day visit. This was around 12pm. The window was 3 to 7pm. They sent me a link to my service request and as soon as my service guy was on his way I was literally able to track his driving to my home and let me guests know exactly what time we were going to be there. The tracking was so accurate! Amazing!!
Then Alex Orvis arrived, my amazing service guy. Alex Orvis was literally heaven sent. He was so respectful, so efficient, so fun to talk to. I felt so comfortable as soon as I met him...and I was a mess before that. I felt in good hands immediately!
Alex went in and was super friendly to my guests. I could hear them having a good old chat. 5 minutes later he comes out and I think ""it's bad news"". No it was excellent news! He was done! Done! I was shocked! He even reset my Nest which I had totally messed up while trying to find the issue earlier in the day. Alex Orvis went above and beyond and made my terrible day turn around!!!
Alex also talked to me about the MVP program and I signed up on the spot. It's a great program specially for Airbnb owners like me! Companies like this are hard to find and Alex Orvis is what made this company stand out for me!! Thank you Alex!!!

Josh was very thorough. Josh came to give my air condition a tune-up. He talked very quick, but I was able to keep up. Overall I need a whole new system. My system is 38 yrs old. Josh was very courteous & polite.

Had my Air conditioner checked out a few weeks ago by Service Champions. The gentleman who came out was nice, but they truly over sell and overpriced people. It's sad! I use Service Champions every year to check my furnace or AC, but not anymore! When my tech came out I knew my start up capacitor was bad and needed to be replaced. That was it! A part that costs 35 bucks max. Well, I was never provided an estimate and I was given two options, one was $643.00 and the other was $543.00. The cheaper one included a VIP membership of 191 bucks. Regardless, I was over charged and I'm still angry about it. It's not integrity or morale to charge that much money to replace a part I diagnosed. Next time I will fix my AC myself. Stay away from Service Champions, they overcharge!

My husband and I want to Give A BIG SHOUT OUT TO JAMES COLLINS He is the Perfect example of a VALUABLE EMPLOYEE! James was VERY FRIENDLY and POLITE! He really took the time to thoroughly inspect and service our air conditioner. Even though it was SO HOT in our attic while he was up there, James Always had a Smile on his face the whole time he was here! A SUPER PLEASANT MAN! I highly recommend SERVICE CHAMPIONS, and they will come out quickly! YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THEM

We just had a diagnostic service visit from Alex. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable when diagnosing our AC unit issues. He explained everything to me clearly including my options for repair. Thank you Alex!

Joshua was the best. Cheerful, pleasant, explained what he did, had recommendations but no pressure to get it done. Would highly recommend for good honest high quality company.

I previously was very happy with our service we had a tech out to diagnose our unit in April and wanted to save up for the repair called on Wed and was booked for an appointment on Mon, told that they would call us with a more exact time that morning (we thought it was weird but we are desperate it is 100 degrees out) we didn't hear from anyone during our supposed time slot of 6 to 7am...according to our email. We called at 7am and were told our tech would reach out soon. After hours of nothing we called again just after 3 asking what was going on. The customer service put us on hold and then came back with a ""I contacted the manager and the tech with reach out"" again we waited then we call back at just after 4 and are put on another long hold just to be told some bs about waiting for parts. If those notes were there the whole time why did I waste an entire day waiting around? Plus at this point the office ""for our area"" was closed and the only thing she could do is email the supervisor...
So still no AC and no resolution.
