I don't typically take the time to write reviews but after we had Chris Aylard come out a few weeks back to check out our system I had to write one! Its been a long time since I have seen service this amazing! He took the time to explain everything, was very professional and personable! As a matter of fact we signed up for a 2 year service plan because of him! We also had Brian Kirby come on out to see what it would take to do a split to our upstairs and unfortunately its not possible but he gave us other options and went through what it would take.. I'am truly happy we found these guys! Customers for life!

A friend recommended Service Champions for our AC....we called and they sent David Amaral to our house. He was very professional and efficient. He worked very hard to clean our unit, made sure the vents were clear and checked our ducts under the house.

I recommend David and Service Champions.

Had Cameron Juarez as our service tech today and he was very professional. Nice guy, very respectful and cleaned up the mess from the attic where the AC is! He even offered to take the trash out too! Thanks Cam!

On truly one of the hottest days of summer my 94 year old mother's AC unit is not working at all. Fearful of prices for repairs we found Service Champions for a reasonable amount for a diagnostic check and to agree to come on a Saturday with no extra charge. Starting with great communication to let us know he was on his way Kyle Auer arrived promptly on schedule. From the moment Kyle came in he put us at ease with his kind compassionate greeting. He assured us the unit was fixable. He was professional, efficient and highly knowledgeable. What a relief. Kyle's customer service was over and above any technician we've ever dealt with before. Most importantly my moms AkC has never worked better. Kyle took the time to show us what the problem was and how he would fix it. He is truly amazing and made us feel so comfortable and certainly for the right price. Kyle spoke highly of his boss and the company he works for. It really showed. Please ask for Kyle Auer by name. You will not be disappointed but very satisfied. Thank you...

I have had good service from this company but recently when they serviced my system the charge a exorbitant amount for parts they charged $390 for a capacitor that can be bought for under $10. They also charged $390 for a kit supposedly extends the life of the capacitor.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Call PG&E and have them diagnose your system if it may be unsafe, rather than let these people touch your system!!

I would give negative stars if I could, as every time I see one of Service Champions' trucks I get a PTSD attack!

In my previous home in Pleasanton, in the dead of winter, I had a problem with my heater and Service Champions came and looked at it. The technician told me there was carbon monoxide (CO) detected around it and it was such a hazard that it should never be used again. He put a bright orange/red sticker on it that said it was unsafe and NOT to turn it on again.

I know nothing of heating/air so I took his word. He's the ""expert"", right? He quoted me $15k to replace the heater. Although I was really upset and didn't want to go without heat, I said I couldn't make that quick of a decision for that big of a purchase, so I sent him away and over the next month brought in several heating companies to give me quotes. I was a single mom working work full time so this was not an easy task.

In the meantime, my daughter and I were so cold at night that I had to buy electric blankets just so we could fall asleep, it was so cold. Even then, we would wake up in the middle of the night with our faces freezing and runny noses.

None of the quotes I got from other companies was close to their quote (they were less, of course), and the last person kindly and honestly told me I should have PG&E come out and tell me what's wrong with it before I make such a big investment because he couldn't tell if I really needed a new one without turning it on.

So, I called PG&E, they came out and they told me that not only was the heater safe, but it was emitting less CO than you breathe in when you step outside of your house (something like 2-3 parts per million). He said that it's normal for gas appliances to emit a small amount, and there was nothing to be concerned about! All the heater ended up needing was a $75 service call from another heating company, and we were running again.

I was so enraged that I called and spoke directly with the president of Service Champions. He actually LAUGHED when I told him the situation. He said, ""Well, I don't know about you, but anything higher than zero is too high for me and my family. The technician did what he was trained to do."" See this web page that indicates normal indoor CO levels is 0.5 to 5ppm for homes without gas stoves, and 5 to 15ppm for those that do: https://www.epa.gov/indoor-air-quality-iaq/carbon-monoxides-impact-indoor-air-quality#Levels Since he and his technicians are the ""experts"", they know what is and isn't safe, what is and isn't realistic emission amounts, and he knew they were intentionally misleading me.

Here, my daughter and I went over a month with no heat, because his team had been trained to put customers in a precarious situation -- back them into a corner and put them under duress to sign a contract for new equipment they don't need... and he laughed at us! He never expressed any apology/regret/misstep for the stress they put me under, time I wasted setting up appointments for quotes, changing our lifestyle at home because we had no heat, and now further insulting me by mocking my ignorance about CO. I honestly don't know how people sleep at night using this type of business philosophy; I guess violating trust and eschewing truthfulness translates into cars, luxury items, nice bonuses, and that makes up for lost sleep (if there is any).

To summarize, in my own personal experience, Service Champions does not have an ounce of integrity, and I cannot more emphatically denounce their service and sales approach. If I were an elderly person living alone with nobody to help me make decisions, I probably would have just paid the $15k and assumed I was being ""helped"".

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Call PG&E and have them diagnose your problem, or at least get another opinion.

My parents A/C went out or so they thought. My mom called Service Champions on Friday and came out today. The tech Samuel Silva was the best! He came right in, very professional, upfront and honest about the problem and in no time had the A/C up and running. We are so very thankful for him because now we will get a good night's sleep in this triple digit heat. Samuel deserves a raise for sure!!

Nicholas came out today for a preventative inspection. He was very polite and extremely professional. He did a thorough job and explained everything very clearly. Almost like an HVAC mini-course. Everything was good but if we ever require maintenance we will request Nicholas as our technician.

After interviewing and getting bids from several HVAC companies almost 10 years ago, I had Service Champions install my new sysand a few years later had them return to separate the system into zones (if you live in a 2 story, get this done when installed ... much cheaper & sorry I didn't listen to them to begin with). I signed up for their service club and couldn't be happier. I just received a service from Cameron and in the past Nick. These guys are not only just happy people but professional in appearance and knowledge. They take the time to explain what they are doing, why and what they've found (or not). Every one of their guys has just made me thankful I am a customer. A few years ago, my heating system went out on a holiday and the following year the water heater on thanksgiving day... because I am an ""MVP"" member, they came same day and repaired! So I recommend them not only for their installation but their membership value plan including annual inspections...I like being proactive and having peace of mind!

I just said goodbye to Avelino and Morjen of the Livermore location and wanted to share that they are terrific. Some remediation work needed to be done on our system and they showed up on time, toured the system and handled the issues quickly. I appreciate that they worked so efficiently and look forward to continuing to work with them and SC again in the future.
