Found Joel here on Yelp and decided to use him due to his great reviews. I must say, every single one of them are spot on. I called upon Joel to install a whole house fan for me. I purchased a 24"" belt drive one off of amazon. Joel showed up on time and was very friendly. After about 10 mins of him going back and forth between the attic and the fan he came to me with bad news. The fan wasn't going to fit anywhere in my attic. He took me up into the attic and showed me why is wasn't going to fit. He then recommended me a quite cool fan dealer to which I purchased and I went and picked up within an hour and he was back at my door ready to install it. Took him about 2 hours it get the fan in and it was much nicer than I had expected. Joel was very curious and professional the whole time and his price was much lower than some of the other electricians I had called in the area. Don't hesitate, Give Joel a call if you need electrical work done.

Wow! Joel is fantastic!

I found him on Yelp and read the reviews. I had a big problem! 220 volts on my 110 outlets. I was popping light bulbs. First he predicted the cause of the problem over the phone. He said, ""you can get high voltage on a 110 line if you break a shared neutral."" I'd never heard of that. It turned out to be exactly as he had predicted. He traced the problem to a buried junction box inside a wall that had been very poorly done some years in the past by an obvious amateur. The neutrals were FRIED! It could have burned my house down. He fixed the problem in a flash and had me back in business. Now I have a new friend and a great electrician.

Joel recently spent a day at my home rewiring ceiling fans, rerouting plugs and switches and installing both hard wired and solar outdoor lighting. He offered many great suggestions on lighting options and solutions to unresolved problems (Can I have a combo light - ceiling fan on a dimmer switch - others said NO, Joel made it happen.)

He is very professional, fair priced and was exactly on-time.

I am negotiating with my husband for additional projects. Joel will be my selection, no question.

Joel does an incredible job with recess lighting. We recently had 8 recess lighting installed in my living room and his work was perfect. It not only made my living room look great, but also added value to my home (living room looks like a theater). He listens to what you want and executes the job perfectly. I've heard horror stories with contractors, but Joel did the work himself timely and professionally. Highly recommended. We are having ceiling fans installed next week and I can't wait to see his work again. If you are having recess lighting installed, one thing I recommend is to have Joel install a dimmer switch.
