First Class Service. I volunteer for TMMSN dolphin rehab on the island, Dustin was able to come out on short notice and fit us in (twice in one week) to fix several electrical issues we were having. The timely repairs kept critical equipment needed to continue to care for our patient running. Dustin was very thorough and was able to discover an issue that several other electricians missed. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and gave us a fair price.

WHAT A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY!!!
We moved to Bayou Vista, TX not quite 3 years ago and we have had four different electric companies come out to diagnose why various circuits kept tripping the GFCI's or the actual breaker. No one resolved the problem, all they did was test a few circuits and say it was a bad outlet and charged us an arm/leg; and, when they noticed incorrect installs or old outdated equipment, they just bypassed the problem and....just made it work. Well, THANK GOD!!! we found Dustin Shoemaker, LLC (Selectric Services) in Galveston. OMG, he was AMAZING. He immediately diagnosed the problem (as well as noticed/advised us of the poor/incorrect wiring and equipment previously used) and without hesitation - he fixed it; all within 1/2 the time the other companies took us for; and his price was very fair. His equipment (outlet, covers, wires, etc.) was nothing but high quality. Dustin went beyond his call of service; he explained how things worked, exactly what he was doing and why--all while working (how rare is that). He also provided an actual itemized receipt, on letterhead (which others did not--even when asked). This receipt provided a complete detail of what he did and specifics to locations to the house/boat dock. Being in top management for over 25 years, I can truly say Dustin Shoemaker, LLC / Selectric Services is an organized and structured company, with Dustin being highly professional and knowledgeable, with the skills and capabilities to perform any/all electrical needs; all which are encompassed by an outstanding personality to provide a superior customer service. We will DEFINITELY be keeping him around for ALL our electrical needs.

My husband and I purchased a historic home in Galveston 2 years ago. Dustin and his team have updated our electrical system, installed new and rewired old outlets, addressed safety issues and performed many other jobs too numerous to mention. These guys are fantastic! Dustin has been awesome to work with. We called him to look at a few things when we had our house inspected for an option period to see if we wanted to go through with buying. If you haven't figured it out yet, Galveston has some very questionable repair and service technicians. In my experience, most of the time they're on ""island time"" and don't show up, continuously reschedule and unfortunately display some highly questionable practices. I had a big restoration with numerous electrical projects. Needless to say, I had a lot of island timers and needed to have repairs to the work others completed.. Frankly it was difficult and a total mess.

HOWEVER, Dustin was a delight to work with. He is very professional, up to speed on tech and passionate about what he does. This guy works hard, is fair and very respectful of you and your property. No kidding, my job is 100% about the customer experience and Dustin delivers. His followthrough is consistent high quality and thorough. This guy is reliable and definitely stands out for quality workmanship. I had Dustin work on many projects and he exceeded my expectation time after time. Dustin does what he says and is very reliable. I have hired a few other electricians in Galveston and would never call anyone but Dustin at Selectric Services.

I trust the work and the character enough to give them access to my home when I'm out of town or at another property. I don't typically provide a review like this but I trust the work and I know you will be very pleased with the high quality and professionalism that Dustin brings to each project.
