We have used Seaside for several jobs at our home and have recommended them to neighbors as well. They are always friendly, prompt, courteous, and clean up when they are done. We had an electric car charger put in, a spa wired, outlets added, and a short traced. Always well done. Recently Jason has been the electrician we ask for and he is an incredible electrician and always finishes the job well. We will continue to hire and highly recommend . I had a simple change out of a receptacle in the garage. When i got the bill from Seaside Electric they grossly overcharged the time spent for the change out. Then, I shocked at the changeout rate for the technician that came out to the job site. They billed the technician out at $110/hour. I am in the wrong business if this is a typical rate for a service person. Don't blame it on covid!! I will never use this company again and recommend any one to get a second quote. Larry Graves

Called because of positive Yelp reviews. Quick response, organized and helpful. Set appointment for two days in advance. Showed up on time and fixed a timer for outside lights. Very quickly. Excellent local business.

The wiring in my house in Ventura was old school in that they were almost entirely ungrounded therefore having a much higher probability of an electric shock. However, the wiring was in very good and useful condition. Also, my main panel and breakers were old and needed replacement. I hired Seaside Electric to remedy the problem. Jim came out to my house and took a look at what I had and explained what he could do for me. Then James, an electrician working for Seaside, came out to my house, introduced himself, and explained each day what he was going to do and then did it. I found James to be naturally meticulous and honest and was well mannered. They were also able to completed the job in such a manner that while James worked on the job my electricity could remain on for over 90% of the time with very little interruption. They completed the job and I really liked Jame's work at Seaside.

I always say to make sure to get a written contract and stay in communication with your contractors. Always implement good business practices whenever you hire a contractor and check to see if they are licensed and have any social media reviews like Yelp. Make wise decisions going in and you'll be happier on the way out.

I had a great experience working with Jim at a Seaside Electric! We purchased an older home and I was scared to death about the electric problems listed on the inspection report. Jim came out and gave me very practical and affordable solutions to address the issues and make our home safe. I was expecting someone to 'upsale' their services, saying we would have to gut the whole house but he knew what to do to make it work until we can afford to do that at some point down the road. Thank you so much! Totally awesome experience from start to finish! I absolutely recommend.

We lost electricity in 1/2 of our house on a Friday at 4:00 pm. We called a few electrical companies and this one said he'd come out. He did a temporary fix. On Monday morning they came out and found the problem. AWESOME!!! I can recommend this company
