David Wysocki is one of the best electricians I've ever worked with. He is not a man of many words, but he follows through and does excellent work at a reasonable price. He recently removed our hanging light fixture from an old outdoor patio cabana, and after the new cabana was installed, he returned and re-installed the light. It looks so good and works perfectly. Super satisfied. David will be our 'go to' electrician for any future electrical work.

Highly recommend! He was responsive and very helpful. Some of the lights in our house had gone out and he searched high and low to find the problem and fix it. I did not hire Seal Beach Electric but I learned a valuable lesson to get a SECOND OPINION if the first answer is NO. The owner of SB Electric came to give me a quote but I never heard from him again. I interviewed at least 6 electricians for my project but Seal Beach Electric stands out clearly because the owner is the ONLY electrician who told me that 2 of my requests were IMPOSSIBLE.
1. He said it was impossible to install a new circuit for my microwave oven. His recommendation was to move my microwave oven to the laundry room- not an appetizing or sanitary solution. Another electrician came to give a quote on the same day and he laughed uncontrollably to hear this. He quickly found a better solution - to reroute the electric circuit from
the laundry room to the microwave oven, a distance of a few feet.
2. Seal Beach Electric also told me it was impossible to reroute my cables in order to Remove the soffits from my ceiling. I knew that this was not true because my neighbor had gotten their soffits removed a few days prior. All the other electricians I interviewed said it was entirely possible to reroute the wires in order to remove the soffits. They explained that installing accessible junction boxes was a common practice to accomplish this.
I also asked for an outlet for the end of a new kitchen peninsula I was planning, so it would be compliant with current building code. However, SB Electric was not familiar with this code and said he didn't think it was necessary. I am glad that all of the other electricians were knowledgeable about the building code requirements, which is essential to get City approval on a building permit.

A circuit breaker tripped. We went to Home Depot to find a new breaker. Myriad choices complicated the search. As we were discussing our failed breaker with the HD sales aide a fellow on the aisle stepped up, said he was an electrician and offered advice.

He was wearing a Seal Beach Electric shirt and identified himself as David. He asked some good questions and told us what we needed. He told me to call him if we needed help.

We bought the advised breaker elsewhere (HD did not have it), and installed it. However, the new breaker also tripped. I called David who advised to remove all loads from the circuit, and reset the breaker. We did and the breaker still tripped.

I called back and set up an appointing one a couple of days. It then occurred to me that several lights on the circuit were two- and three-way, and one or more might still be set to on. We tried those switches in different patterns and got the breaker to close.

In a few minutes we found the offending short and fixed it. I called David to cancel the appointment, to thank him and to offer to pay for his time. David was, as he had been all along, gracious and professional. He said he was happy to help and said no charge.

We'll be referring all of our future electrical work to Seal Beach Electric and David. Thanks!

Rossmoor resident & very satisfied ... Seal Bch Electric increased power from 100 amps to 200 amps & split system into 2 boxes. David W. replaced and upgraded old 100 amp electric box at the rear of the house (will still be used as junction box for household circuits), and placed another new box on side of house to be the Main box. Main will be used for the pool, HVAC, solar panels, & garage circuits .... & lines from pole to house will now hang along side of house instead of hanging over pool. Will be adding future outlets in garage for electric cars, hobby kiln & landscape lighting. Came on time, courteous, cleaned up afterwards, explained everything, & answers his phone. All done & OC permit received.
