I recently selected SE Electric to install a whole-home backup generator and am extremely pleased with the results. First, Shane and his crew were very conscientious about COVID-19 safety during the initial visit and subsequent work. Second, the written proposal that I received was clear and with enough detail that I knew exactly was I would be getting. A competing bid had no detail whatsoever, just a price and a generator capacity, not even the generator model. Third, Shane provided options for cost saving, clearly discussed pros and cons of certain options, and displayed a good understanding of my needs. And finally, the work was executed with excellence in a timely manner. Shane's team was polite, professional, careful. I feel that I received an excellent system at a fair price. So, PG&E, bring on the Public Safety Power Shutdowns! We are ready!!!!

Our electricity was flickering and surging. It actually fried several of our electronics including my sons Xbox. We went to generator back up for several days as I looked high and low for an electrician. I called several in my area of which either didn't answer their phone or gave me the ""We cant help "" line. I finally found, on yelp, a number for SE - and to my surprise they answered the phone. Shane listen to my issue and was very understanding and helpful. He very professionally let me know that they were backed up for at least 3 weeks but gave me the number of another electrician. After contacting the referred guy he was at my house within 30 minutes assessing the problem and 10 minutes later he had the problem fixed and charged me next to nothing. Thanks SE for caring enough to refer someone who would be considered your competition. Two thumbs up for professionalism, caring and integrity.

Just wow! I could not be happier we called them! Out of the blue our bedroom electrical just blacked out! With a baby due any day you can imagine how worried we were speculating what the problem and cost might be. We called this morning and a technician was here by the early afternoon! He was so nice and stepped us through the process and the problem. Annnnd had it fixed quickly! What a relief!!

I've used S.E Electric twice so far, some wiring repairs and a new sub panel installation. Both times they have been great. They communicate really really well, are professional and helpful and the work was fantastic. I'm definitely going to use them again. Highly recommended.

I wish that EVERY business was run the way Shane runs his company. This team is extremely responsive, always on time, super friendly, and exceptionally good at what they do.
