We had a power surge due to our power lines going down in the early February wind storm. We had multiple issues as a result of the damage caused by the surge. We reached out to Steven at S&E Electric based on his numerous 5 star reviews on Yelp. He responded to us very quickly and was at our home within a couple of days. He started with our electric panel and replaced one of the switches. Next, he tested our garage door openers and confirmed those were fried. He also checked a kitchen light fixture and advised the ballast was shot. He also checked the outlet to our dishwasher and confirmed it was good. Steven was very professional and knowledgeable and the cost was reasonable. We will be using S&E Electric as our primary electrician in the future. Highly recommend S&E.

I hired Steve to install an EV Charger at my rental house in downtown Sacramento and then install a Tesla Charger at my Rocklin home. The Rocklin house had a few complications mainly because I had a very old panel. Steve prior to taking the job did a bunch of research to make sure that he could do it safely and cost effectively. He was able to mitigate all the previous issues I had in Rocklin and present me with several options to choose from. He did great work and finished everything in half of a day. He really went above and beyond what I expected an electrician to do. You could tell he spent time doing his homework before coming out and trying to spend time figuring out solutions on the spot. I really gained a ton of trust and respect for Steve and would highly recommend him to anybody looking for an electrician.
