Josh is truly one of the best I encountered in my journey of fixing the old property I purchased last year.

To make a long story short, I had to fire my first electrician referred to me by another top rated electrician here on yelp, also I had to fire a contractor from a highly reviewed company too..... (bad luck or what..!?)....... however Josh is somebody I keep calling back and back. His professionalism, competency, speedy service, honesty and commitment put him far apart from others.

The recessed lighting his team installed receives on-going compliments, and the price for them couldn't be beaten. Every single time I have asked, Josh and his team have delivered great results. I also appreciate how he makes continuously great suggestions, one of which included installing a phone jack in the closet so that all the wiring clutter is hidden. If he didn't suggest that, my modem, router, fax machine would all be sitting in the corner of my small dining area........ Duh!

He keeps his word and in the very rare occasion when he forgets something by accident, he makes it up, for example by showing up on a weekend. I wish there were more professionals like him, but so far my experience has taught me that it is rare to come by.

Called SDS because of a dead circuit in our house. Called at 11:00 a.m., they gave us a window of 3:30 - 4:30 same day. Josh came out and traced the issue to a loose wire in a junction box in less than an hour. Although the price was a little more than anticipated, the service was great. Very good communication and my wife felt comfortable having Josh in the house with her (most important thing to me). He took the time to talk to me on the phone and explain the issue and said if there were any further issues to call him and he would come back out. Will definitely use them again if needed.

What great service! Breakers went out at 4am on a pouring the rain down Saturday morning. Josh from SDS was at my door at 8am just as promised. He was fast polite and courteous! I even called him back out to fix my celing fan! He goes out of his way to do a great job! I will for sure call him again for any electrical needs!

I had SDS out to replace an entire bathroom fan enclosure and everything went to plan. SDS called on the way over and even showed up early (no problem for me). Both workers knew the job, prepped well, were curious and very clean. SDS quoted 2-3 hours and it took them all of 45 minutes so I was extremely happy.

SDS Electric is professional, courteous, and gets work done efficiently and with care. I've always wanted to have an electrician where they know the names of their clients, and SDS Electric does this. They get a lot of return business and regular customers because they have a high standard of quality and personal service. Their prices are fair and reasonable. Trying to get a deal on electrical work can get dicey, and I'd rather have work done right, which is what they do.

We've worked with Josh the most, and he's a good guy. He troubleshoots problems and offers solutions, but ultimately, it is your choice on what you want to do. He doesn't try to up-sell you on expensive solutions or anything like that. You have options, and ultimately, you make the choice. No pressure. He's about getting proper electrical work done to make your place safe and sound.

These guys were good. Installed 2 ceiling fans as new installation with no problems. And the fans work perfectly.

I'm changing my review to 2 stars. I know it's late, but I was reviewing my previous reviews on Yelp and saw this one that I haven't had a chance to update. In addition to the 2 ceiling fans, the guy also installed a new exhaust fan in the bathroom. A few months after it was installed, I moved out of the unit and turned it into a rental. I hired a contractor to paint the unit and install a few things. He looked at the exhaust fan and said it needed to be replaced. The first one hadn't been installed properly. I had wondered why it was so loud. He installed a new one that is very quiet and works great, but I wasn't happy that I paid the other guy to do it and it turns out that he really didn't know what he was doing.
