Contacted SD Electric Technologies via Yelp after requesting a quote which was sent to multiple companies.
We've used this company before for our electric needs. No regrets at all. Very responsive and detailed.
This time, no regrets as well. Other companies provided a higher on site diagnostic/consultation price, if not, doubled compared to SD Electric Technologies.
The last time we used their service was about 2 years ago. Professional and respectful technicians on site.

Military discount. Diagnostic and consultation price is $149.99. Waived if repair is actually done. Will definitely use them again, hopefully not too soon!

Others were $195, $350. Ridiculous prices.

1) There was no return of any money by SD Electric Technologies.
2) I had to get someone else to correct what they did wrong. The new electrician installed the new, and correct breaker cheaper and higher quality for just $125. SD Electric Technologies overcharged and did a poor quality job. SD Electric Technologies charged $380. I just want to let everyone know about my experience with SD Electric Technologies. SD Electric Technologies overcharged and did a poor quality job.
3) The circuit breaker was not tripping at all. It was sparking and the lights were flashing. I already diagnosed the problem before they arrived. I just needed the breaker replaced and that breaker was just $20. SD Electric Technologies replaced with the wrong breaker, that may be why they complain that the breaker was expensive and uncommon. They cheat you by making false claims.

I have used SD Electronic Technologies four times. I was referred to them by a friend who said they had done a lot of very technical lighting at the theater he worked for. The first time I used them was a project to replace the ceiling lighting system in a room with high ceilings. The second was to replace five exterior double flood lights. The third was to resolve a flickering problem and the forth was to replace two GE Z-Wave smart switches which had failed after a power outage in my neighborhood. Scheduling was easy, they came on time, and each project was completed to my satisfaction. Leo and his staff do good work at reasonable and competitive rates. I will certainly call Leo again when I need electrical work.

Called SD Electric and spoke to Leo and we set up an appt. 2 days afterr. His assistant Jesus came by and did a real good job troubleshooting, changing out outdoor lights housing and installing the GU Bulbs. The bonus Jesus stopped the chirping noise from our Smoke detector (On for 7 days driving us loopy..lol).
Of course , I tipped Jesus and gave him some Pellegrino water. Jesus was quick to go to the different areas , he informed me of his process , fixed it quickly and professional
Now waiting for the install / estimate of a Ring camera from SD Electric.

Always on a weekend... Last Saturday morning the lights went out in both bathrooms and along with the electrical outlets in one of the bedrooms and the lights and outlets in the garage. Why, always on a weekend? Lucky for me I have a reliable electrician who I can call. Within the hour Leo of SD Technologies sent over one of his professionals, I believe his name was Arron, who immediately started working on restoring the power outage in our home. Being an older home of 51 years, it took a litter time, starting with the outside panel to search for the cause of the problem. One faulty switch found inside the house was replaced and everything was back to normal and all on a Saturday. Experienced, reliable, professionals who do great work at reasonable prices. SD Electric Technologies is the Go-To place to call if you need any electrical work done.
