1) There was no return of any money by SD Electric Technologies.
2) I had to get someone else to correct what they did wrong. The new electrician installed the new, and correct breaker cheaper and higher quality for just $125. SD Electric Technologies overcharged and did a poor quality job. SD Electric Technologies charged $380. I just want to let everyone know about my experience with SD Electric Technologies. SD Electric Technologies overcharged and did a poor quality job.
3) The circuit breaker was not tripping at all. It was sparking and the lights were flashing. I already diagnosed the problem before they arrived. I just needed the breaker replaced and that breaker was just $20. SD Electric Technologies replaced with the wrong breaker, that may be why they complain that the breaker was expensive and uncommon. They cheat you by making false claims.

I have used SD Electronic Technologies four times. I was referred to them by a friend who said they had done a lot of very technical lighting at the theater he worked for. The first time I used them was a project to replace the ceiling lighting system in a room with high ceilings. The second was to replace five exterior double flood lights. The third was to resolve a flickering problem and the forth was to replace two GE Z-Wave smart switches which had failed after a power outage in my neighborhood. Scheduling was easy, they came on time, and each project was completed to my satisfaction. Leo and his staff do good work at reasonable and competitive rates. I will certainly call Leo again when I need electrical work.

Called SD Electric and spoke to Leo and we set up an appt. 2 days afterr. His assistant Jesus came by and did a real good job troubleshooting, changing out outdoor lights housing and installing the GU Bulbs. The bonus Jesus stopped the chirping noise from our Smoke detector (On for 7 days driving us loopy..lol).
Of course , I tipped Jesus and gave him some Pellegrino water. Jesus was quick to go to the different areas , he informed me of his process , fixed it quickly and professional
Now waiting for the install / estimate of a Ring camera from SD Electric.

Always on a weekend... Last Saturday morning the lights went out in both bathrooms and along with the electrical outlets in one of the bedrooms and the lights and outlets in the garage. Why, always on a weekend? Lucky for me I have a reliable electrician who I can call. Within the hour Leo of SD Technologies sent over one of his professionals, I believe his name was Arron, who immediately started working on restoring the power outage in our home. Being an older home of 51 years, it took a litter time, starting with the outside panel to search for the cause of the problem. One faulty switch found inside the house was replaced and everything was back to normal and all on a Saturday. Experienced, reliable, professionals who do great work at reasonable prices. SD Electric Technologies is the Go-To place to call if you need any electrical work done.

Probably the best experience I have had working with any business for our home improvement and maintenance projects. Nars was prompt and professional in all communications. Quote and invoicing was very streamlined and really gave me confidence that I was dealing with a legit company who clearly has their stuff together! Kitchen lights were installed quickly without a single piece of dust lying around and no holes to patch. I was kinda shocked. Garage lights and new outlets look great and I appreciated the added touch of them updating our old outlet and switch panel covers. Would 110% recommend.

Leo and his team fixed my broken breaker fuse last year. I contacted them again for an electrical panel upgrade because I've been overloading some outlets. Turns out it was too expensive at the movement to meet city codes so I wanted to do some re-wiring with new outlets.

They did a clean job and turnaround was time was good! I would use them again for my next electrical project or issues!

This was the second time I called SD Electric for service. My porch light went out. Leo's crew arrived as scheduled. They checked the wires, switch and the porch light fixture. The light fixture went bad and they replaced it. They made sure it was working OK. They were neat and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Communication.

I posted a projected stating my bathroom fan/heater/light combo was mis-wired. They responded promptly with a flat rate estimate and asked no follow up questions. They show up, and determine another wire was needed but suggested to my wife to save money they could hook up the light and fan to one switch, and the heater to the other. My wife called and asked if that was ok - I was at work and quite rushed but that seemed ok.

They then wired them up to one load line, on a 3 function switch - even though at this point there was only 2 functions. Then they explained that we can't run the fan/light and heater at the same time.... So they are assuming we want to sit in the dark with our heater on? Also, there is no ground wire now.

I was shocked at the unprofessional solution they offered, which is also an unsafe solution.
They were quick to suggest an estimate and I should have known not to go with the lowest bidder when they didn't even inquire about the job or explain what was or was not included in their estimate.

Of course he blamed me because I used the term ""mis-wired"" instead of ""missing a wire"" as it needed another 12/3 with the 12/2.
