Three years ago I had a complicated electrical issue Mark and Mario spent a lot of time helping to resolve for me. I was so grateful for their help and expertise that I saved the number for Scott Electric in case I was ever in a jam again.
This year I needed someone the day after Thanksgiving to help fix electrical problems that affected the cooktop and oven. Mark was very responsive and agreed to come out to help during a time most other places are taking the long holiday weekend off. They arrived early in the morning and got right to work, finding the solution very quickly. They are reliable, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and very reasonably-priced. I'm so thankful for their great work each time I had a problem that needed to be fixed.

Someone called and told us that they would be here by 1. That was a big improvement from after 12. The electrician came on time and charged us a reasonable amount. I was happy with the service but the no calls no shows left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't give 4 stars because of that.

Mark is so helpful. He knows his stuff, he doesn't mind taking time to really investigate the situation and find creative solutions that other electricians didn't think of. It meant a lot to me that he went out of his way to take trips out to me to just assess the situation before he jumped in to help. And, he's such a nice person to talk to and get to know, which is always a bonus in this world.

I had an outlet suddenly stop working. After trying to find a loose wire myself and spending an hour calling around, no one was available for days. Mark answered and said he would come over after his last job. He arrived around 6 pm and was finished within 45 minutes. He charged just $100.00 service call much less than others quoted. Some wanted $200. then $50. for each 15 minutes. He checked all the wires in nearby boxes including the main panel to finish up. Would use again.

Over the phone, Mark said once he got to the house he could troubleshoot our electrical problem in less than an hour, and per his word did so in about 5 minutes. The previous electrician said it was a problem with the home's original wiring and could take hours to figure out, Mark knew better. The previous electrician had connected a new GFCI outlet wrong. Thanks Mark!

It's a rainy afternoon and suddenly about 1/3 of the power goes off at my boss' house. He has no heat, no hot water, random outlets aren't working, it's 3pm and he calls me and says ""fix it"".
So I came to Yelp and found Scott Electric and called the number. Mark answered and by 4:15 - on a rainy afternoon on the hill no less! - was at my boss' house diagnosing the problem. It needed a specialized part to fix, but he had it located by the following morning - had to drive to San Dimas to get it! - and installed by 1pm that day. Fixed within 24 hours at a totally reasonable price, considering what he had to do.

VERY responsive, knows what he's doing, humanely priced. If you need competent help in a hurry, this is the guy to call.
