I wanted to have two ceiling fans installed in my garage and When it comes to electrical I want a licensed company and not a handy man. Called schork, gave a quote over the phone after asking several questions about the job (through which I like) and I sent some photos. Time frame was totally reasonable and they turned out great. The technician that came over to do the job was here a long time, but did a good job and I definitively thought the cost was fair. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My wife and I decided to do a comprehensive overall of the electrical in our house. We called around to a few places, and the first one to answer the phone was Greg Schork. He agreed to meet us right away that afternoon. Having been through some ""less than ideal"" contractors in the past, we were really looking for someone reliable and prompt, and his willingness to meet us without delay was a good start.

He came exactly when he said he would, and in addition to saying he could do all we asked, he recommended a few additional things we might be interested in. When it came time to quote a price, he gave me a reasonable quote, and I countered by saying I was wary of going over the quote. He immediately quoted me a maximum price that he would stick to no matter how long it took his team. This impressed me, but what came next was even more impressive. We asked when he could start, and I expected 2, 3, 4 weeks or more out, since that's been my experience with others. His response was they could start Friday (this was early in the week) and have it done in 4-5 days. Great!

Every single day throughout the process, his team showed up 5 minutes before they said they would. He would walk us through what they wanted to accomplish that day, walk his team through their responsibilities, and they would work hard until that day was done. His team was courteous, kind, hard-working, and communicative when turning off power (very important to me, since I work from home).

On top of these qualities, the professionalism of the craftsmanship of their work was exceptional. They did everything they said they would do, on time, and it all looks fabulous! Furthermore, they came in $1,000 BELOW their quoted budget, and nowhere near the maximum agreed amount. We now have our electricians for any future project, and I would highly recommend them to you for any of your electrical needs.

Great work! Great prices! Great ideas!

I had new fixtures and a fan remote control to be installed. The work was completed in a most professional way and at a very reasonable price.

In addition, I had an outdated fluorescent fixture in the kitchen and no clue what to replace it with. Greg told me about flat led panels that can be fitted within the existing framework. They can be dimmed and the colors changed with a remote control. I was having a really hard time visualizing the product so he brought a sample to my house after his normal workday. I can hardly wait for or them to
be installed!

So I bought a new dryer. I had been using a gas dryer and went with an electric dryer this time completely positive that the outlet was the right outlet for the dryer. When they came to install the dryer, it turns out that it was not the right outlet :( . Whoever built my house put in an outlet for an oven not for a dryer--- apparently they have different voltages. So here I am, with a pretty new dryer and no way to use it---- so upsetting. In my mind calling an electrician to fix this problem was going to cost a fortune and getting a new dryer was not the best idea. BUT, someone recommended Schork Electrical Services. I called them and they returned my call promptly. I think it is Greg told me that he could come to my house the next day (wow that is fast). I expected that he would come and give me an estimate, but he asked me about my problem right on the phone, had me text him pictures of the outlet and came the next day and fixed it!!!!!!! He went on to connect the dryer and make sure it was working---and then he gave me a completely reasonable bill- meaning it did still cost me money (and I was even happy to give a tip), but now I have a working dryer and the electrical problem was fixed by a professional.

If you are needing the absolute best in the business, just stop right here and dial the number on the screen. We purchased a home with so many non-disclosed issues, one being potential fire hazards with our electrical breaker box and interior wiring. We called several local 'licensed electricians' who came to inspect and had the balls to tell us 'diming lights' and 'flickering lights' are normal and to be expected in older homes (ours was built in 1984). We knew that was not right, so we kept making calls.
Greg not only said he could help, but he came by that day to inspect our issues. He immediately came up with a game plan to fix all existing issues AND help with long-term preventative measures to ensure the safety of our home and the security of our family. His assistant Josh worked tirelessly to get our entire house up to code and safe. He even did some small installs along the way per our request (install new interior ceiling fan and remove crystal chandelier for replacement). They were prompt, convenient to our schedule, professional, funny, and definitely caring about the work they performed in our home. That's not even the best part. He beat out all others where value and price were concerned.
We highly recommend Greg for any of your electrical needs. Big or small, he'll rock them all!

Greg was very professional and prompt. And you can tell he has been in this business a long time. It was very re-assuring to us. To me the electrical problem in our home seemed very complicated. After I explained what happened, Greg went straight to the attic and fixed the problem. A small part needed to be replaced and he had one in his truck. I highly recommend this business.

I wanted to surprise my husband with hot tub for Christmas and Greg was so helpful. He was on vacation when I first called and still answered my questions and texted with me. When he got back he came and did the work on Sunday! Even gave me an estimate on some other work. They did a great job and my husband was completely surprised.
