They found the perfect panel that fit our current and future needs perfectly with a solar ready panel with plenty of room to add new electric appliances and EV chargers. I hired Schafer Electric to shorten an existing outside electric line. Their employee came over and realized he needed one fitting that he didn't have with him. He had the 1/2 inch and 1 inch fitting, but needed the 3/4 inch. He ran to the hardware store 15 minutes away, but was gone for an hour as he told me he restocked the truck. When he returned he finished the job in about 40 minutes. I was originally billed for 3 hours of work. I spoke to the owner about all of the the above, including the restocking of the truck, and he still told me that they would bill for 2 hours as they charge for the time the driver was getting parts. Invoice was for $405 for a job that took approx 1 hour of actual work.

This is a great company that we used to install 2 outside electrical outlets to connect to our new retractable awnings that we recently installed. Dennis came out and work around the rain we had and did a terrific job. Very professional and courteous. We would highly recommend this company.

We had a fantastic experience with Shafer, from the estimate visit to the project completion. Dennis replaced one ceiling fan/ light fixture and installed a new one in another room. A small project yet we felt that we got the very best treatment! The service and products were great and our project was scheduled quickly and completed perfectly. We had an assortment of small problems at our house. We needed a new outlet, had 3 dead outlets, a kitchen appliance had stopped working (power related) and some exterior low voltage problems. Ian came out and took care of everything. He was friendly, explained everything and just did an excellent job. Electricians are expensive and so I was resigned to be big bill but Ian worked very quickly and efficiently so that he was done in just a couple of hours which helped minimize the cost to us. We will definitely call them again for future problems or projects.

I called to request help from an electrician on Tuesday, November 9, and on Wednesday, November 10 you sent your electrician, Jimmy to help me. Not only was Jimmy friendly, courteous and professional, but he arrived at my home before 11:00 a.m. thank you Jimmy!! The time frame quoted to me was between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
I truly appreciate the service that Schafer Electric provides. I will definitely reach out to them again should I have additional electrical issues!

Horrible communication. Horrible billing process. The admin staff does not know how to answer questions or listen to customers. Billing practices are horrible. Do not hire these guys for work in your home.

We have used Schafer Electric on occasions of both the installation and maintenance of heavy equipment at Duggan's Mission Chapel Funeral Home in Sonoma, CA. In particular, we have had the opportunity to meet and work with Charlie, an electrician with many years of experience. He did all of our wiring, and even made sure all lighting around our equipment was strategically placed. In an emergency situation a few weeks ago, I called and Charlie showed up quickly to remedy a problem we were having--after normal business hours no less, bending over backwards to help when clearly, we would not have been able to function as a mortuary without the specialized help he gave us. He also carries a pleasant disposition and ready to help with whatever you need. As a whole, we rely on Schafer Electric and they are our first choice to keep us operating as normal. Specifically, Charlie is our choice!
