I requested a quote from S&B Electric for a few small repairs (a few switches and outlets not working) and also for an estimate on adding recessed led lighting in our living room. I received a prompt response and set a date for the repairs and estimate. The crew of 2 took care of the minor repairs quickly and also saved me money as I didn't need a new outlet as I thought - they just corrected the wiring. (They also did a little safety check and suggested I change my lamp timer to a more modern one.) While here, they looked at the living room ceiling, and I received a quote for installing the recessed lights the next day. I agreed and the crew was scheduled to come within a couple of days. I was impressed by how they moved most of the furniture out of the living room and covered the rest plus walls and drapes with plastic to protect my things from the plaster dust. They did a nice job, and I'm very happy with the work and the reasonable price.

I called S&B Electric to get a quote for a home generator. The owner spent about 20 minutes with me on the phone educating me about the different options, wattages, power options, etc. They definitely helped me a lot and now I know which generator to buy. Will be hiring them to install it.

I had a positive experience with S&B Electric. The electrician was on time and very professional. I had a wiring issue in an electrical box for multiple switches. I was concerned that it was going to be a very expensive diagnosis and repair. It took the Electrician about 45 minutes. I was quite happy that I was only charged the amount I was quoted. I would definitely refer S&B Electric to anyone that's looking for a honest, prompt and professional Electrician.

Our house is 60 years old with no upgrade. We don't have centralized heating/ac system. We're okay for a while but recently it's been so hot so I bought a portable ac. We don't have three prong outlets so I used a power strip to run the ac. The power strip tripped four times so I called S&B. Stewart was so friendly and nice. He told me to try an adapter and I did. Our ac works fine with it. Stewart was very helpful over the phone and responded to my text messages which is a rarity. Our problem may have been solved by a simple suggestion by Stewart and we greatly appreciate the helpful information. Stewart deserves more than a five star rating!

This morning I had a potential wall outlet that was malfunctioning & emitting a electrical smell. Called Stuart & he immediately sent out one of his guys Jason. Jason checked out everything & fixed the problem without delay. Stuart had pulled Jason off another job due to the emergent nature. Thank God for people like Stuart who really showed how he cares for his customers.

My parents house in Concord had a power outage. I called PG&E, after a long waiting on the phone, someone finally answered. The PG&E rep looked up the address, he said since no outage in the neighborhood, nothing he could do about it. Then I find S&B Electric from yelp.com, sent a text msg and owner responded right away. He asked a few questions and advised me that it's most likely PG&E's problem. I called PG&E again and told them what Steward had told me. PG&E finally sent a technician over and fixed the issue. My parents got power back without having to waste money.

We had 2 other electricians out and they couldn't figure out our issues. Half our house lost power. For 4 days ! Everything was checked , replaced. And still no power all electricians that cane were baffled. BUT. S&B figures it out !!!! Yay my power was back on and fixed !! Derek found the bad plug behind a fire wall in a furnace closet ! And found a few more that burned out from the first bad one. !! Great company. Will use them again !!
