Update to my earlier review: I moved forward with the rest of my home electrical projects with Saunders Electric to bring the electrical system up to date and up to code. This included installation of a new 200-amp service panel per DWP and Department of Building and Safety requirements (a big job) and adding a whole house surge protector; adding new outlets/receptacles; changing out old receptacles for GFCI receptacles where needed; properly grounding receptacles that weren't grounded; adding LED dimmers; and doing a variety of odds and ends on my list for years. I couldn't be more satisfied with Saunders Electric especially with the care and attention Isidro brings to his work.

Great that Bruce and Isidro showed up wearing masks and were very quick and efficient - even recommending changes that were more appropriate for my home which ended up saving me a lot of $$$. Would very much recommend.

WOW! An honest, ethical, reasonably priced and VERY competent electrician! I called Lezar Saunders Electric to fix a short circuit that was affecting my bathroom and kitchen lights. I installed a ceiling fan in a bedroom the day before and apparently I ran a screw through a wire on another (the bathroom and kitchen lights) circuit causing a short. Bruce and Isidor (SP) came out and diagnosed the issue quickly. The house was built in 1924 and has issues. I discussed several other issues with Bruce and he addressed and fixed them all! Excellent customer service, cleanliness and professionalism. Typically answers his phone - text message or calls back promptly. I feel very fortunate to have found MY hard working and HONEST electrician!

PS: I had $1,000.00 in cash stashed in a closet. I am renovating the house and keep cash around to pay contractors and workers. Bruce came across the cash as he was pulling a wire. Bruce came and asked me to move the cash so he could work! How many other contractors would have (could have easily!) just pocketed the cash? An unintended ethical challenge and Bruce passed with flying colors!

Perhaps I caught Bruce on a bad day but he really needs to brush up on his phone skills. Yikes! He might be a good electrician though. I will never know.

Only giving this company 2 stars because of the nice gentleman Ysidro that accompanied Bruce. Other than that I'd give them 1 star. I talked to Bruce and explained to him exactly what I wanted. Which was hang 3 TVs on the wall and hide the cords best as possible. He told me $110 2 guys an hour, I said ok. He also said it would take 2 hours each tv which I knew it would NOT! I noticed Bruce was very slow. Milking the clock! While Ysidro was moving at a great pace. Bruce kinda hung around and watched. Smh... They hung brackets on the wall for one tv and he ""made a mistake"" and drilled the brackets too low. So he had to take it out and drill more holes in my wall... hence ""takes more time""! Now for someone that's done this over 30 years, in my opinion a mistake like that shouldn't happen. Especially while I watched them measure it, and measure again, and again. He was milking the clock. At the end it only took them 4.5 hours but that's because I was on him telling him not to waste my time. When they were done Bruce tells me that because he had to stay it'd be an extra $100 for him. He did not disclose that information to me. He lied and said he told me $110 for 1 guy. Which was a LIE! I'll never use him again. However, I wish Ysidro the best of luck! Oh and he forgot to bring cable covers.

Bruce is outstanding! My AC stopped working and I called him on a neighbor's recommendation. He immediately called me back and took a full description of the problem - even as he completed his current client problem. Then, on a blazing hot Saturday afternoon (99 degrees), he came over immediately, no less than 30 minutes after I put the phone down. It took him a few minutes to look around, climb a ladder to the roof, and identify that the problem lay beyond the boundaries of my property, on LADWP structure. He told me exactly which LADWP number to call, what information to have on hand, and how to correctly answer the response ""menu"" to get immediate urgent service. Having completed this process, and to my amazement, the LADWP arrived within an hour and fixed the problem which was a downed line! Bruce is courteous and knows exactly how to trouble shoot a problem. His price is fair. I highly recommend!

Bruce is awesome. He's friendly, low key and got the job done without any fuss. He and Isidrio were so good about cleaning up that there was no evidence that they'd been there once they left. Except for the hard wired smoke detectors that looked like they'd been there all along.

I called another, well reviewed, well respected electrician for an estimate. He quoted me $2,200. Bruce charged be $995.

Contractors on the whole are a nightmare. Bruce was delightful.

Bruce is the absolute best electrician! He is extremely fair and honest. He showed up right on time despite being very busy and was in communication throughout the entire process letting us know when he was on his way. While working on our electrical panel he let us know exactly what happened and took the time to show us and explain the whole thing. Extremely thorough and very pleasant person. All around good guy. He went way over and beyond and really exceeded our expectations. He came to us highly recommended by another highly regarded electrician. As a Mom of a young child I can breathe more easily knowing we have proper installation of our electrical equipment and that peace of mind is worth every penny.
