I called Sattler when I had an emergency that needed to be resolved within hours. His team was busy until later that day, but he took the time to trouble shoot the problem with me. He offered a great temporary solution and when I called back to tell him I had found an electrician who was resolving the problem, he asked about the solution and suggested a corrective course of action to help avoid future issues.

Backstory: My office kitchen was overloaded with appliances, multiple coffee machines, espresso machine, coffee grinders, etc., and I thought for sure we would need a new dedicated circuit or panel because the minute someone would run the dishwasher with everything plugged up, the fuse would blow at 9 am... before coffee... Not-so-happy employees.

Sid was super responsive with replying and helped diagnose the problem, offered suggestions, and guided me to try out a few things before hiring him. His suggestions worked and I can't be happier he was willing to take the time out to troubleshoot the issue with me.

I highly recommend Sattler Electrical Service. They care about what they are doing and it shows through their work and customer service.

I had high hopes for Sid and his team, but in the end he scammed me. He charged $300 to come out and look at the electrical work I needed done with the promise that it would apply to our contract for work if we signed. He quoted me $23,000 for work that one week later I had done for $4,500. Would never trust him ever again. Don't agree to pay him to come see the work you need done. It's a quick way to lose money to Sid.

We had an external outlet get wet in the rain. Our tenant's tankless water heater was plugged into this so it was urgent. Sattler Electical is the only electrician that responded, came out the next day, and replaced the outlet in about an hour's time. Sid's a lifesaver.

""Troubleshooting and Repair to Check non-working kitchen stove receptacle and repair as needed."" This line item cost me $250!! Sid came out and looked at the existing wiring that needed to be hooked up to the existing outlet - it cost me $250 JUST TO LOOK AT IT so he could send me an estimate for $600 to resolve. When I told him no thanks, because the price was way too much, he said he'd allow me to put the $250 against the proposed work. I used another company and the entire job to reconnect the existing wire to an existing outlet was resolved within an hour, with a licensed company and for or less than we already paid Sid. Shady business dealings. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this happened earlier this year and I still feel robbed. And, Sid, please don't respond with some BS like I've seen on the other bad reviews. Own up to these comments and if you want to charge for your time to look at the job and develop an estimate, make it reasonable.

Sid spent a lot of time messaging me about a project I am working on. Our conversation was split into two branches in Yelp (not sure how) and I replied to the second branch. When Sid didn't see any replies to the first branch he reached out to make sure I got his message.

Sid gave me very specific and good advice and offered to review photos of our sub panel and the project. Turns out I was able to take care of the problem without his having to come out. I would definitely use him with confidence if I had something else I could not take care of.

We just purchased a new property and immediately knew we needed to call Sid to help us address some serious electircal issues. We previously had a great experience with Sid and his team on a full rewiing of our home several years ago. Sid and his team did a great job on the new project as well and we were immediatley reminded what a pleasure it is to work with him. This electrician is very dishonest, watch out, buyer beware, what I have learned is if a contractor is available the next day these busy times, it is not a good sign. SId the owner sounded very knowable , BUT HE did not come out to give an estimate before hand as. I told him I had a rectangular fan, He sent two workers, whom would not let me see what they were doing , however I have learned you get what you inspect not what you expect. Sid asked for my credit card ,he wanted money up front, but he keep the numbers and charged twice as much as I agreed to. He said his guys worked by the hour and I was there to know when they came and left, and he called to make sure they took lunch,
Only one guy worked, the other just stood and watched, Am I paying for training? Switching out one Ceiling fan which was rectangular with a square one which did not cover the hole, and he knew it was rectangular, said it would need a different type of breaker, he never installed. Long and short of it he wanted over $2,000 dollars and one guy went through my ceiling which now needs to be patched he also wouldn't talk on the phone after, I tried to call and ask him for the info on the fan, I have always received the paperwork on the products from any other qualified person.
He took it with him, I have no warranties now.
