Absolutely the best! They heard about my 99yr old granny's electrical issue and went immediately and helped get her back working. They were kind, caring, professional and did not take advantage of her in the least. Some new outlets and a small fix to her breaker box was all that was needed- not the complete new panel and re- wire of her entire home as another company tried to push on her.

Hired them to pull a permit for one of our clients and for over 3 weeks they claimed they had. After many many calls and emails and getting ""it's in process"" we find out they never submitted for the permit. When Gary was confronted his response was well I can do it first thing on Monday. Fired and will never use them for any of our clients again.

UPDATE: After two months of feeling like I was getting the run around, Jim Depoy, from Sanford Electric, called me back. Apparently he is the license holder for the business. He stated he was unaware of what had happened to my ceiling. He wanted to schedule someone to come out and take pictures, which honestly boiled my blood. I refused to let that happen again. Instead, I offered to send him pictures, which he agreed to. I promptly sent them accepted via email. He confirmed receipt.
About a week later, I was wondering if I'd ever hear back. The next day, he called and said he would find a dry waller. A week after that, he found a dry waller and called to ask about my availability. I told him just book a date and a time with the dry waller and tell me what it is. I was trying to be as flexible as possible, to facilitate the repair.
A couple days later he called and gave me the appointment date and time. The dry waller was on time. The job was completed in about three hours and it looks pretty good.
Afterward, Jim called again to see if I was pleased with the work and mentioned painting the area. I declined the offer for painters, since I don't have any matching paint and I don't want to take the time to be there for another subcontractor. The hole is fixed; it can be painted later. I appreciated his gesture for the painters though.
The incident occurred on Monday, November 15, 2021 and was repaired on Friday, January 21, 2022. Just over two months to get it fixed. I understand there were a few holidays in between those dates, so that's why I was being as flexible about it as I possibly could. At this point, I don't know if I'd hire them again, but at least I can say they came through in the end and made amends.

I wouldn't use them again. I used them for the kitchen remodel and the electrician would usually do what ever was the easiest for him, not what was best for the job. One light switch he installed shocked me so I turned the breaker off and looked into the triple gang box. It was a mess. He also used drywall screws to mount the switches into this triple gang box. Who know what other substandard work he did.

Talked to Gary Mon. Said electrician will install floodlamp in backyard on Wed. Talked to Gary again on Wed. to confirm appt. Was waiting all day, got no call and no show. Could have had work done by someone else had I known he would blow me off

I've remodeled several homes and had experience with many local electricians. Sanford Electric is tops. They are responsive, offer great service and have never failed to solve a tricky problem or an electrical mystery. The two electricians who have worked with us (Darren and Charlie) have been professional and courteous.

Waited one week for an appointment then several more days for someone to get back to me regarding the estimate. I had to call several times and was treated like a second-class citizen. I will take my business elsewhere I urge you to do the same.

Other contractors hit some romex with a wood screw and we were out of power in the kitchen. I called Sanford Electric based on good reviews from locals and they sent someone out within hours. It took two days to run new lines, but the work was very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

They came out to give us an estimate to replace some recessed light fixtures with LED ones. They charged $110 just for coming out to give an estimate. They weren't on premises for 20 minutes. I will not call them again.

Terrible service. I waited from Monday till Thursday and kept calling every day and at the end nobody showed up. I felt at the end that they strung me along. I moved to another company and I suggest that you do the same.
