""San Dimas Electric"" is definitely the place to call if you're looking for a professional electrician with real integrity!!!

Last night around 3am my son went to bed, but just before doing so, he plugged a stand up fan in the outlet next to his bed because the heat this summer has been relentless!!!

Next thing I know, he walks up to me telling me the outlet sparked and is very hot so I went to check it out and sure enough, the cover was very hot!!! I grabbed my tool box and removed the cover and we could smell a little bit of smoke!!!

I pulled the outlet out to get a better look and it kept sparking until a little fire actually started!!! My son ran to grab our fire extinguisher as I let go of the outlet to grab my wire cutters... the fire quickly extinguished itself and I cut all the wires to end the threat of another fire!!!

After capping and taping off the exposed wires, we discovered four (4) outlets in my son's room and our living room stopped working so we went out to the electrical box to reset the fuses but after many failed attempts, we couldn't get power back to the other outlets!!!

I went online to research possible reasons why and it was either a quick and inexpensive way to fix or we would need to call an electrician for help and who knows how expensive that would be!!!

Frustrated over not being able to fix the problem yet thankful we discovered and removed the threat of an electrical fire possibly burning my son's room down, we went to bed to get some sleep before having to call for help in the morning...

Shortly after 8am, I called ""San Dimas Electric"" and I spoke to Louie... I explained what happened and Louie said the earliest he could get to our home would be like 6pm... I asked him how expensive this would be because money has been a little tight lately and Louie asked me if I was handy enough to work with outlets... I told him I was so he explained what the simplest thing the problem could be and how I could fix it!!!

Taking Louie's directions, I headed out to my nearest hardware store to fix the problem before the heat of the day became a problem as well!!! When I got home, I turned off the power to my home. I then tapped up some of the exposed wiring and I installed a new outlet... I then turned the power back on and amazingly, that's all it took to fix the problem and restore power back to the other outlets!!!

I spent just over $5 at the store to fix the problem!!! Louie could've told me not to touch anything and wait for him to help which would've cost us a lot more!!! I want to thank Louie for his integrity and professionalism and I hope people take time to read my review and call Louie when they need an electrician because we'll definitely be calling Louie anytime we need help now!!!!

Superb service and fairest price. Of all the contractors I called, Louis was the only one who took the time to thoroughly explain and educate me on my options. Louie did an excellent job! After another electric company didn't show up as promised, I called San Dimas Electric and spoke with Louie. He told me that he would be there to handle my electrical problem with a hard wired smoke detector system and install a ceiling fan. Louie, did exactly what he promised and was very professional. I am happy to see that some people still believe in customer service. I was pleased with Louie and will definitely use San Dimas Electric in the future.

I had an electrical issue with the electrical box at my home in Rancho Cucamonga. I was referred to San Dimas Electric and I called and left a message. Louie returned my call within half hour and helped me troubleshoot the problem over the phone at no charge. Any other electrician or handyman probably wouldn't do that free of cost. Hes a very honest guy and I would hire him to work on my house any day. Thank you Louie!!

Excellent service!!! My power went out in my garage I tried what I thought would fix it and nothing.. Spoke to Louie and instead of coming out and charging me he walked me through a few things to try before he came out and OMG it worked! Even fixed other issues with outlets I had in the garage.. Not sure anyone else would have taken the time to do this and not charge!!!! Thank you sooooo much for this GREAT customer service. I sure will be going back for any other issues I have and will definitely be recommending Louie to my friends. 5+

Louie did an outstanding job installing a new electrical outlet for my office. He was quick, courteous and professional. The whole thing took him about an hour from start to finish and everything has been working great.

God bless Louie! My husband called and spoke with Louie about a ground fault issue we were having. Since my husband is somewhat of a handyman, Louie graciously offered excellent advice on what to look for in order to fix the issue.....at no charge! Louie is not only a consummate professional and exceptionally competent, but he is just a great guy. I needed my electrical panel upgraded and an electric vehicle charging station installed in my garage. I had trouble getting a hold of other local electricians and the couple whom I did talk to did not seem terribly confident in the EV charger installation process. Louise, on the other hand, knew off the top of his head the energy requirements for my vehicle and charger. The installation process was handled efficiently and at a very reasonable rate. He has also subsequently performed smaller projects such as installing bathroom ventilation fans and ceilings fans in the bedrooms. Louise at San Dimas Electric comes highly recommended. He will be our primary go to guy for electrical work from here on out.
