The guys were fast and effective. We used them to run a new 220 circuit from our panel to our attic, and to install a new light switch and outlet. They quoted a great price, they stayed within the quote, and their work was top notch. Very happy with them.

These guys are great and exceeded my expectations. I hired them to install an outlet in my garage so I could plug in a chest freezer without having to run an extension cord. They had to install a new outlet where my garage door opener was on the ceiling, tapped in to that, ran conduit across the ceiling and wall, and installed the new outlet right where I wanted it. Their work was neat and professional and the price was reasonable, unlike some of the other ridiculous prices other electricians wanted to charge me. I would hire this company again without hesitation. They are top notch.

This is one of the best cards in my rolodex. I'm in an older house, and Bart & Alex have been here solving electrical problems 4 times. Their work is perfect--and I'm really picky. They're great guys, honest and trustworthy, and I consider their rates very reasonable. Not only that, but they've squeezed into places in my attic and crawlspace where I wouldn't attempt to even go. They don't try to ""up-sell"" you when they look at the job, they just ask you what you want fixed, and they do exactly that. They both have a great attitude, and we've enjoyed having them in our home, but they work really efficiently so they never stay very long. These guys don't waste a minute once they get started---very prompt, responsive, and courteous.

Unfortunately I have to change my opinion of this company. I have had them complete work in my home in the past and referred them on several occasions. However, the last time they were here I was quoted one price then charged a significantly higher price after the job was complete. I was never informed at any point of the price increase. I understand prices can change but I feel you need to tell the customer in advance. It's a shame because they do a good job which accounts for the 3 stars. There are lots of other electricians out there and I do not feel right about supporting a company with questionable business practices.

I had these guys work on a few broken plugs and timer switches. They are good and affordable. Even went above and beyond to fix an outside light that they accidentally broke. Very nice guys.

Bart, Alex and John have done several jobs for us, both at our home and at our rental property. They are always prompt and friendly and really know what they are doing. I am fairly private when it comes to my home so it is not my favorite thing to have ""strangers"" in it. However, these guys are always very kind and respectful and make me feel comfortable having them in my home. They come in, work quickly and quietly, clean up and are on their way. I really like these guys and would absolutely recommend them to everyone. Also, their pricing has always seemed very reasonable to me and I feel like they are very honest in the way they do business.

When I called San Diego Superior Electric, I did not get a hold of anyone right away. I left a message and Bart returned my call within a couple of hours. I called to have a ceiling fan installed, an outside light replaced and to add a few more outdoor lights with an outlet.

Bart, scheduled me for a consultation the following week as the nature of my work was not urgent and showed up promptly at the agreed upon time. We discussed the work to be accomplished and he gave me a very reasonable price. We even went over another quote that I received from a different electrician and made adjustments to his quote where applicable.

Once we agreed upon the price, Bart immediately went to pick up the needed items and completed the work the same day.

One of the things that impressed me the most was his willingness to work around our family schedule. I have a young child that requires naps and they were able to complete all the inside work before nap time and were really quiet while completing the remaining work outdoors. Even with cutting into stucco walls, they managed to not wake up the baby which is worth at least 3 more stars if it were allowed.

Once the work was completed they quietly cleaned up and went over all of the work and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I have recommended San Diego Superior Electric to my family and friends and will continue to do so as they have all reported similar ""great"" experiences with them. I have never been compelled to write a review on someone's business, but in this case, I felt that it was a worthwhile endeavor.

the best experience i have had with a contractor in this city. from estimate through the work . on time , professional , neat , courteous. makes me want to find other projects for them .
i had several fixtures upgraded , a ceiling fan installed , canlights and smoke detector installed etc.
all in less than 5 hrs.

A-OK! It was tough to get ahold of Bart, but we were eventually able to schedule an appointment to have the light in our stove fixed. The electrician showed up on time, was quick, courteous and very knowledgeable. We did pay top dollar ($140 to fix a light socket which took 15 minutes) but you're getting a trained electrician which isn't cheap. For smaller jobs, I'd probably opt to go with a handyman but for larger, more complex work I'd definitely hire them again.
