1 star only because you can't go any lower
My home warranty company hired this business to repair my washer and dryer. They took weeks to respond and they weeks to get the parts to repair my units.
Technician was a nice guy but not detail oriented at all. Was supposed to be at my home between 11 and 4. Without any communication shows up at 7:15 in the evening. Rips apart my washer, puts in a new pump and doesn't even plug it back in to see if it works. Or course it didn't.
Left me with a washer and dryer still not working and screws on the floor. We hired another repair company and they fixed out units no problem. Turns out the pump the first company replaced wasn't even the issue.
Beware!

I am adding to all the horrible reviews of this company regarding dealing with them over a claim filed through Fidelity National Home Warranty. This company is ABSOLUTELY A SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! If your home warranty company assigns them to you, ASK FOR ANOTHER VENDOR!!! They did call relatively quickly when Fidelity assigned them to set up an appointment to come fix our refrigerator...but they couldn't come out to look at it for 10 days. Ok- everyone is stretched after Covid so I'm willing to be patient. The tech came out and determined that the fridge simply needed a new drainage tube but that because it is a built-in, he needed a second person to help him move it out from the wall to access the tube. That, he said, needed to be approved by Fidelity. Again, ok fine. I was told I'd hear back on this request the next day. Nothing. I called multiple times over the next TWO WEEKS and the only answer I could get out of them was that the request for approval of a second workman ""was still in their processing department""!!! THEY HAD NOT EVEN SENT THE REQUEST TO FIDELITY. Yesterday when I called, I put my foot down and said I needed an answer and was assured that the paperwork would be sent to Fidelity the next day and that the processing department would call me. AGAIN, no one called. So when I called today, I was again put on hold for a long period, then was told that they had determined they were not going to be able to fix our refrigerator and that they had told Fidelity that morning. So I call Fidelity and they NEVER RECEIVED ANY PAPERWORK AT ALL from this company. The Fidelity agent actually put me on hold to call SameDay while I was on the line and he came back appalled that this company was so incompetent.Sadly, at this point, Fidelity cannot get us a new vendor until this place actually sends them paperwork to close out their claim. I suspect this company is deliberately sitting on these home warranty claims to prevent other repair shops from getting Fidelity's business. But after talking with the Fidelity agent today, I'm pretty sure Fidelity will be launching an investigation into this place.

Terrible service, terrible customer service there is literally nothing good about these guys. Stay away.

They were sent out by our home warranty insurance for our oven. My wife paid them the deductible the first visit and they said they need to come out with 2 men to do the job. The home warranty company the extra cost and paid them. When they finished they said the deductible was not paid by the home warranty company. We have tried numerous times to get our money back and so has the home warranty company.
They are a rip off! No wonder they only have 2 stars which is twice what they deserve

At first this company seemed great. It took a long time to get the part for our dishwasher (2.5 months) but due to shipping delays, I completely understood. Then, they came to install the part and the tech couldn't remove the dishwasher (it was a difficult angle) fine, had my handyman do it at my cost. Checked to make sure that when I paid for that, that it would be reinstalled correctly. I was reassured it would. Called them the next day to say my handyman had the dishwasher out and I was informed they realized they ordered the wrong part! Ugh They were so apologetic and made a rush order on the new part(2.5 weeks) Got the motor installed and it's working, yaahh! Realized after the tech left that he didn't put the kick plate back on the bottom(whatever he said he'd check back Monday(this was Friday))Put my first load in and as I open up the door to empty it, the whole dishwasher falls forward and a few dishes and wine glasses break. He had not secured the dishwasher and hadn't said anything about that! Call the company back and the soonest they can get out is another week. Ugh but fine. I get a call the tech is on his way. Tech calls and says oh it's to reinstall? We don't do that. So you pull things out and just leave them there?! No big deal they just want me to spend another $50 having my handyman reinstall. Absolutely ridiculous customer service!

Fidelity National Warranty dispatched SameDay Appliance & Electric to respond to a claim. I saw the claim go through on my FNW account and within a few hours someone from SameDay called me to schedule my appointment. They dispatched a Technician named Noel and he was right on time. He was very knowledgeable without being arrogant. Very kind. He took his time answering and explaining every question that I had and taught me a few things about what to look out for and preventative things to do with my GFCI circuits, which I appreciate as a homeowner. He was responsive, timely, respectful and courteous. I highly recommend his expertise!

If there was a way to give negative stars I would definitely do so. Coordinating between SameDay and Fidelity National Home Warranty [FNHW] has been an absolute JOKE! SameDay is the 3rd vendor that has not shown up in 2 weeks, as we are still waiting to get our dryer fixed.
Today, SDAER failed to show up within the FOUR HOUR window that THEY scheduled AFTER the initial appointment was rescheduled by THEM!!! Who does that?
Initial appointment: Friday March 18, 2022 [12PM-4PM].
Rescheduled by SameDay: Sunday March 20, 2022 [12PM-4PM].
Result - No Show - No Call by 4PM.
Clearly they lack the decency and common courtesy necessary to run and sustain a successful business.
Tick Tock!!!

Horrible service and very bad communication, technician not know what to do, took 4 months to complete service.

Oh boy where do I begin. I am reading some of the other reviews people have left and frankly I am happy that it is not just me!
I turned in my claim on 10/25/2021. My issue is that the top burners (all six) click when they are being used (operable but extremely annoying) and my oven doesn't turn on/ignite (dead in the water).
Let's just say this whole thing turned into a mess the moment the technician stepped into my house to look at the range. Without boring you to death with the dozens of phone calls I have made to Same Day and FNHW (my warranty company) and the text messages from Same Day to me.. nothing was getting resolved and every one was slower than molasses. No range for Thanksgiving but we made due.
Eventually the oven portion was repaired before Christmas to make us happy (thank you Darryl) but the top burners were still on backorder with no date in sight. In January 2022 the range has been deemed unrepairable and I am working with FNHW on a replacement option as of February 2022.

SAME DAY APPLIANCE had failed me completely and had the nerve to send a survey. I will tell everyone on all platforms not to use this company!!!
My home warranty company referred me to them January 13, the first appointment I had to wait almost 2 weeks for between 11-3 at 3:09 they called to reschedule for two days later between 1-4 at 4 no one yet so I called ""oh he's running late"". At 4:45 the tech shows for 4 minutes and said he must order parts, that was Jan 26th. February 1, I get email stating they have submitted request for approval to home warranty company. February 2 get email apologizing for delay the parts will take 7-10 business days. February 9, I get an email says ""Order has been processed and approved through the Home Warranty and is now with parts department for ordering."" (Wait what?) I responded this was not what was told prior.
They responded February 10th "" Good Morning, parts were ordered on Feb 1st. We have received parts of shipment as well, but not all the parts are delivered."" February 15 I got a call and I was told to unplug my fridge 24-48 hours before the repair appointment that has been scheduled for 2/21/22. I told them there was no room for error because this will mess up my food if they don't follow through. February 18, I got a call from my home warranty that it's been canceled and referred back to the warranty company. Why???? I called this repair company directly to find out that they NEVER had to parts and can't fix it. Why did someone call me and set up that appointment where I could have lost all of my food, why all of the lies?
