Terrible company!!!! Came out to fix the dryer missed
Diagnosed it the first time and ordered a control panel that took over 1 month to get then that didn't work so they replaced a bunch of fuses and relays didn't work. So finally ordered and replaced another control panel and finally fixed it. It took over 2 months to fix the dryer and we we're without a dryer the whole time. Terrible communication the entire time. Find another company or you'll be sorry.

Most inept company I have ever dealt with. The guy came to fix our oven door and had to order a part. We didn't hear anything for six weeks. I left a voicemail, did not hear back. A week later, left another voicemail and did not hear back. A few days later they finally called to schedule an appointment for the following week. The day of that appointment they called to say that they were driver issues and they had to reschedule. The following week when they were due to come, they said that the part they had ordered was defective, and they needed to order another part. When they call to schedule a time, they offer you one time, and the person who calls is unable to offer any other times, and has to have someone call you back. We are still waiting

I am glad they didn't answer my 6 phone calls and email to them over two days after reading the reviews. I was referred by Fidelity National Home Warranty and this was my second referral in the last 2 weeks. My stove has no spark ignition on burners so we are using matches. When you call their phone number the calls ring a couple of times and then it goes dead.

Save your time and energy. Call a local pro with good reviews! Forget home warranties too!

Well, add my review to the long list of those connected to SameDay via their home warranty company I guess. We had two appliances needing repair. This company is based out of Sacramento and apparently only comes to Fairfield on a day or two a week (I think only Tuesday and Wednesday?) so scheduling with them is already a pain in the ass. They did come as scheduled, in no certain hurry, to fix the leaking dishwasher. That's good. Thankfully we didn't feel it was an emergency. However, they apparently didn't get the part they needed to repair our ice maker so they said ""we should have it in next week. We will reschedule with you then"". Since then...crickets. Just radio silence. It's been two full weeks, I have called and left them three separate messages on different days, and I haven't heard a peep back. Super inconvenient, super frustrating, and definitely extra work on my end. I guess I'll leave this great review for my home warranty company too for doing business with such a lackluster, unresponsive company. It seems the manager hasn't been fixing anything after seeing all the other similar complaints as well.

If I could give a ""0"" I would. As a Realtor I would never again accept this company, as referred by First American Home Warranty, to do any repairs. First, they do not do repairs they just tell you they're sending Roger, if that's his real name, to come and repair the appliance. 3 times he failed to show up. I even spoke to him personally on his cellphone where he promised to show up and failed 3 times miserably.

When I call ""SameDay"", what a obfuscation in business names, they say they cannot contact the repairman. They say ""so sorry maybe he can come out when he's out in the area"". What this means is they don't really service my area unless it is extremely convenient for them.

First American Home Warranty contracts with this company at a detriment to their reputation. First American Warranty has also failed in that they have now offshored their service communications of all types to Philipines and to Mexico, where you cannot understand half of what they are saying. But I digress..

Like a lot of other people here, we were stuck with Same Day (who we now refer to as Some Day Service in our home) because of our home warranty. You have to call two to three times before you speak to someone. They don't return phone calls. They claim they sent texts that we never received. The actual service made the problems we were having with our dishwasher worse instead of better. I'd give them negative stars if I could.

DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, use this business! We have a home warranty so when our dishwasher flooded our kitchen on Sunday night we called the warranty company first thing Monday morning. This is the service provider that they assigned to our claim. We were supposed to hear from them on Monday and after not hearing from them I called them on Tuesday and was given a window of 10am-2pm the next day (Wednesday) for our appointment. Then on Wednesday morning we received a text that they changed the window to 10am to 3pm. When they didn't show up by 3:05pm I called them and they said the repairman would be there any minute.....25 minutes later he finally showed up. I explained the problem, which he really didn't listen to, he spent about 5 minutes, said it was a blocked air line and it was all fixed. I paid him $75 and he left. I went into the kitchen 20 minutes later only to find it completely flooded!!! We immediately called them back and we were told they would reach out to the repairman and get right back to us right away! We still have not heard back from them. We called our home warranty company (Old Republic) and they wouldn't do anything except to say we needed to reach out to SameDay Appliance Repair. Needless to say I have no interest in having them back out because clearly they have no idea what they are doing so instead we are now paying a local plumber to come out and fix the problem. I wish I had read all of their reviews before I allowed them in my home! I doubt very much they give much thought or concern over bad reviews but please don't take a chance with this company as I'm sure you will regret it.

I guess I should have expected the type of service I received when this was the company my home warranty company was contracted with, as it was quite clear they wanted to find likely the cheapest company that doesn't really care about the quality of work they do, and it definitely showed. When my built in microwave had a jammed opener, it took 2 days for anyone to come out and take a look. The person they sent had a major attitude problem and acted irritated at every aspect of the job. He ultimately pried open the door and ruined the finish only to tell us that he didn't have the part he needed to fix it. They supposedly order the part and TWO WEEKS later schedule a day to come and replace it (of course by now we had to purchase another microwave to use, which there was no remorse for by the company). The scheduled day arrives and the technician assigned to us is ""out sick"" and apparently there is no other technician who can cover. Mind you I took a day off work to be available. Three days and many unresponsive phone calls later, the same guy with the same attitude comes back, does a shoddy job, and takes off. The microwave does open now, but the part that was fixed doesn't fit flush like it used to and the microwave now jutts outs from the wall whereas before it fit like a glove. When these concerns were brought up, the reply from the tech was ""it was like that before"". Um, no actually it wasn't but none of us had the energy to argue at this point.

Do yourself a favor and go with any other company for your home needs. I'm never using this company or going through my home warranty company again.

Refrigerator Repair: One star is one too many. Call for service on a Friday about 8:30 a.m. Got voicemail, left my name and number. No call back so I called again about 11 a.m. Got a human. Gave her all the information. She told me the price to come out. I set the earliest available appointment which was 5 days out (Wednesday). They were to call the night before with window of time. No Call. Called them on Wed @ at 8:30 a.m. Voicemail full - leave sms. We did. No call back. Called at 9:40, got a human. They didn't have me on the schedule. No record of my call. Willing to come out on Friday. Thanks but no thanks. I called another appliance repair. Hope they come out tomorrow as scheduled between 8 am and 11 am.
