I wish I could leave a negative 5 stars for this ghetto joke of a company. My electric has been out in my kitchen for weeks. The initial tech that came out pulled up in a hoopty company vehicle, he was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The rest of the company is a complete scam and a joke. Beware they will try to collect extra money after your claim has been approved and they will say it's for ""labor"". Stay away from this business!,,

I'm definitely not surprised by all the negative ratings for this business. This business is the epitome of incompetence. After activating my home warranty on Monday of last week, which was a holiday, I contacted this business the following day to see when they can come out and repair my fridge. They scheduled me an appointment for Friday, 9/9. They later called and said they would have to reschedule that appointment due to a mandatory meeting that day (really? You didn't know about this meeting beforehand?). They then scheduled me an appointment for Sunday, 9/11, between 2-6. I received a call from the technician around 12:30 on 9/9 indicating he was having car problems and he was wanting to ask some questions to pre-diagnose the issue. I was in the process of transporting a family pet to euthanasia and I asked him to call my adult daughter who was home and could answer his questions. He called my daughter, she answered his questions, and never once did he indicate he wouldn't be out to service my fridge. At about 5:30, after not hearing from him, I called to find out status and he didn't answer so I left a voicemail. Needless to say he did not show nor call for the appointment. Fast forward to this morning and I called them to find out what happened. They said their technicians don't show up until 8:45-9 and they would find out then. Why have your business open at 8 if you can't even provide any pertinent information to your customers??

The fact that this business has replied to earlier reviews saying they appreciate the negative as well as the positive reviews so they can improve services is completely laughable. It's apparent they have done nothing to improve their services.

Why do companies like this exist today?

Customer service:
They are rude, unorganized, and unapologetic.

Two people called me with different appointment times...I said I already confirmed an appointment and made adjustments to my work schedule... They tell me they don't see on their schedule.

If that my fault??

Just like others, I have no choice but to deal with them.

I had a confirmed appointment window of 1-5 pm. Technician called at 7:10pm confirming visit. I told him it was too late. I would have appreciated a phone call earlier explaining that he would be late. He called the next day to reschedule. I canceled my appointment

DISHWASHER REPAIR:
I put most of the blame on my home warranty company, Cinch Home Services, for selecting Sameday Appliance Repair. Cinch boasts that their ""Trusted service pros are pre-screened with up-to-date licensing and insurance. "". That's good, but how about also screening for good service, timely responses, customer satisfaction?

I received confirmation August 2nd, from my home warranty company (Cinch) that my deductible was received and that I should contact Sameday Appliance Repair immediately; which I did. Sameday said they were not ready for the new work order. They had not yet put it into their route repair schedule. Fair enough. They said it would take 24 to 48 hours to do that and that they would call me. They called three days later and said a technician could be at my home on August 9th, between 9 am and 1 pm.

Technician showed up at 1 pm and quickly diagnosed that the control panel to my dishwasher was bad, that they would need to schedule another visit , pending the approval from my home warranty company (Cinch).

With intermittent contacts made after August 9th, to Cinch and Sameday Repair, I was able to learn that a new control panel was approved. Sameday Repair said that it would take seven to ten days to receive it. The part was received on August 25th. A service technician was scheduled for August 30th, between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm.

Let's hope it's the right part, and the only part that's bad.

I do not recommend either Cinch Home Services or Sameday Appliance Repair.

It's been two weeks trying to get my 4 year old GE dishwasher fixed by Same Day Appliance in Rancho Cordova. First trip out, tech said they had to order a new door panel part and would call me. One week later, still no phone call. I called them. After putting me on hold for ten minutes they said ""Oh yes, your part is here now "" but couldn't schedule it for another week. One week later they come out and say it's the wrong part and not compatible. Tech had no clue how much longer it would be and left. The only reason we used them is because it was a home warranty plan with Fidelity National Home Warranty. When you try to call the Sane Day ph# there is no answer and bo way to leave a message as their 'mail box is full'. Terrible service and poorly run business.

1 star only because you can't go any lower

My home warranty company hired this business to repair my washer and dryer. They took weeks to respond and they weeks to get the parts to repair my units.

Technician was a nice guy but not detail oriented at all. Was supposed to be at my home between 11 and 4. Without any communication shows up at 7:15 in the evening. Rips apart my washer, puts in a new pump and doesn't even plug it back in to see if it works. Or course it didn't.

Left me with a washer and dryer still not working and screws on the floor. We hired another repair company and they fixed out units no problem. Turns out the pump the first company replaced wasn't even the issue.

I am adding to all the horrible reviews of this company regarding dealing with them over a claim filed through Fidelity National Home Warranty. This company is ABSOLUTELY A SCAM. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! If your home warranty company assigns them to you, ASK FOR ANOTHER VENDOR!!! They did call relatively quickly when Fidelity assigned them to set up an appointment to come fix our refrigerator...but they couldn't come out to look at it for 10 days. Ok- everyone is stretched after Covid so I'm willing to be patient. The tech came out and determined that the fridge simply needed a new drainage tube but that because it is a built-in, he needed a second person to help him move it out from the wall to access the tube. That, he said, needed to be approved by Fidelity. Again, ok fine. I was told I'd hear back on this request the next day. Nothing. I called multiple times over the next TWO WEEKS and the only answer I could get out of them was that the request for approval of a second workman ""was still in their processing department""!!! THEY HAD NOT EVEN SENT THE REQUEST TO FIDELITY. Yesterday when I called, I put my foot down and said I needed an answer and was assured that the paperwork would be sent to Fidelity the next day and that the processing department would call me. AGAIN, no one called. So when I called today, I was again put on hold for a long period, then was told that they had determined they were not going to be able to fix our refrigerator and that they had told Fidelity that morning. So I call Fidelity and they NEVER RECEIVED ANY PAPERWORK AT ALL from this company. The Fidelity agent actually put me on hold to call SameDay while I was on the line and he came back appalled that this company was so incompetent.Sadly, at this point, Fidelity cannot get us a new vendor until this place actually sends them paperwork to close out their claim. I suspect this company is deliberately sitting on these home warranty claims to prevent other repair shops from getting Fidelity's business. But after talking with the Fidelity agent today, I'm pretty sure Fidelity will be launching an investigation into this place.

They were sent out by our home warranty insurance for our oven. My wife paid them the deductible the first visit and they said they need to come out with 2 men to do the job. The home warranty company the extra cost and paid them. When they finished they said the deductible was not paid by the home warranty company. We have tried numerous times to get our money back and so has the home warranty company.
They are a rip off! No wonder they only have 2 stars which is twice what they deserve
