Awful, terrible, horrible, steer clear! We missed 2 days of work for these people who don't show and don't call or text. Wasted so much of our time I want to take them to small claims court. The only thing I'm grateful for is that they didn't ever come over because they probably would have made a bigger mess of things.

I've had an electrical problem with our condo, our warranty home company scheduled an appointment with them, and I've been ghosted throughout the entire process twice. I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday between 12:30-4:30. No call no show. After the set scheduled appointment, after I sent an email, text, and voicemail, I get a woman apologizing and telling me that it wouldn't happen again. In desperation, I agreed. What a mistake. Two days of rescheduling my work and other appointments to accommodate them. I get the respect as a customer with two days of no calls no shows. If a company can't get techs scheduled to show up at a designated time and location, if a company has ZERO CORRESPONDENCE, they shouldn't be allowed to do what they're doing. This is the first of many reviews that I will write because this company is ruining the reputation and credibility of those companies who are struggling to stay afloat. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Worst company I've ever dealt with. I've been without electricity for 6 days. First American Warranty gave them the job. They don't answer the phone, don't return calls or messages. I got one text message saying they would call within 4 days. Never happened. I have 2 refrigerators full of food I will have to throw away. I read the reviews today for Safewire. Every review is bad. Apparently, they come out and don't fix anything. I canceled the service request with the warranty company and called another company. Got a response immediately. They will be here in the morning. Stay away from Safewire!!!

One star is way more than this company deserves.
They are completely unprofessional and non-responsive. We had an appointment booked, which they cancelled two hours AFTER they were supposed to arrive.
We rescheduled the appointment, which they no-showed. They did not call, they did not text, they provided no communication whatsoever.
My wife and I work independently and rearranged our schedule for these people TWICE and are yet to hear back from them.
I would never recommend them to anyone. If you're looking for an electrician, look elsewhere. Anywhere else will do.

Although I don't like text communication it worked out. They were professional, on time and helped me understand my problem. Problem is now fixed and I can now dry cloths. The young man that came out also tried to help with an outlet that has never worked and that was appreciated as it was not covered in the request. I will call them anytime I have an electrical issue.

Wish I could give negative stars. They won't answer calls, messages or emails from insurance. Insurance companies need to stop using this company.

Late, unprofessional, generally unhelpful.
Blew up fuses despite warning.
Avoid at all cost.

Have been assigned for a repair via American home shield. Been waiting weeks to schedule an appointment but seems like my emails, phone calls, voicemails never reach a human. Best of luck to anybody who encounters the same issue

Safewire was selected by our insurance co. (First American Home Warranty). They were prompt and communicative in scheduling an appointment. Their technician was on-time, efficient and courteous. Due to the complex nature of the issue and a need to contact our insurance co., we were told that we'd be informed about a resolution. This is where Safewire fell down. Ten days later after daily text messages and three phone messages it took a call to the insurance co (an hour wait-time) to find out that Safewire had not yet contacted them! The insurance co. called them and, finally, Safewire responded. In less than an hour we got our answer: Not covered by our insurance. Oh well! If Safewire had followed through promptly, we could have initiated work through another electrician (we won't be using Safewire!) a week ago and got a head start on the work required.

The power was going off and dimming in my house. The main circuit breaker to the house was making a sparking/arcing sound. I contacted First American Home Warranty (FAHW) and opened a claim. They scheduled an electrician to come on Friday of that week. The electrician didn't arrive during their time window.
They rescueduled a week later, and the Safewire electrician who came out, said the breakers look bad, but if he attempts to replace the breaker, it may result in his inability to put a new one in (which turned out to be 100% incorrect). He said the panel appears to be bad and said he will file a report to replace the panel and breakers with FAHW. SHortly after the electrician left, the power completely went out, so seems his diagnosis worsended the problem. I called a local electrician who charged me $400 for an emergency call and within 15 minutes, replaced the breaker and problem was fixed (has been 2 weeks and all is perfect). My electrician said the panel was in perfect condition. FAHW, 3 days later, sent an email saying they are denying my claim, because the ""Contract contains the following provision(s): Under the section marked Electrical, 'Inadequate wiring capacity' is listed as not covered"". Safewire electrician told me one thing, then told the warranty company another. The electrician sent was unqualified and incorrect
FAHW's customer service also told me that the techs they send out get a flat fee to come out, whether they fix the problem or not, up to a certain amount. So their incented to fix nothing and pocket all the fee. Why do any effort if you get paid the same no matter what. These guys are unethical and don't care about you
