I work with a property management company out of Hayward and we received an urgent maintenance request from a property we manage in Newark that was having some electrical issues. The tenants informed us that they had a total of 3 outlets that were not working with no tripped breakers.

I called Habib that same evening about the issue the tenants reported and he was able to go out to the property the next day.

To make a long story short, there was some faulty wiring done from a previous job that Habib cleaned up and even improved.

The tenant e-mailed me the next day thanking me (even though I cannot take any credit) and said that the electrical in the house is working even better than before where the lights would not dim when other things were in use.

I HIGHLY recommend Safe Electric to anyone looking for a reputable, efficient and knowledgeable electrical company that will go above and beyond your expectations.

Habib installed around 9 exterior lights, and 1 mini chandelier and track light inside two bedrooms for me. Exterior work was the most challenging because he had to run the wiring outside from power source in the attic. I have vaulted ceilings so I'd imagined moving about in the attic must be hard. It seemed like a tall order and initially Habib was not available. I called around for a few other ""highly rated"" electricians in the area but they either didn't respond back or weren't interested in a consultation before installation. I am not sure how they were quoting their price without assessing the scope of work/area in person and sure enough the price was ""subject to change"" on the installation day. Out of honest options, I called Habib back to request his time and he obliged. He stopped by before installation to look at the area, fixtures I had purchased and advised me on the bulbs that were most appropriate for those fixtures (excellent customer service!). On the installation day, he was on time, kept his work space clean and patiently worked at it until he was done (all of this done in one day). I recommended him to my friends in East Bay looking for an expert electrician and will call him soon for a couple other jobs I have in the pipeline.

Sunday night, I lose power in part of my kitchen including the frigerator. Really? Try flipping the breaker, doesn't work.

I want to scream, bitch, moan complain, etc. I calm down and rearrange things so I can have my 3-shot latte in the morning. Only issue, the fridge.

If i don't open the fridge too much, should be good for 24 hours. I just made an awesome batch of lasagna & I don't want to lose it!

Habib is very responsive and very professional! I called him on Saturday at 11 am to come give me an estimate for a chandelier and ceiling fan install on my 15' vaulted ceiling. He showed up at 12:30 that same day and in 5 minutes gave me an estimate. He then came out at 9 am on Monday! Had both items installed and fully cleaned up by 2 pm! He even recommended to my canned ceiling lights with some high efficiency LED canned lights for just a little more $ and he installed them at the same time as the ceiling fan and chandelier! Highly recommend him! He is no nonsense, no excuses kind of a guy who completely knows his stuff! 5 stars isn't nearly enough!

Had Habib come over and install my EVSE. His quote was the lowest out of of three that I received response from Yelp listed businesses. The installation was quick and without much fuss. Because it turned out to be less work than what was previously estimated, he even lowered my bill. Also replaced a switch and wall plate in the garage for free. In one word his service is simply AWESOME.

We recently contacted Habib to switch out a ceiling fan for a hanging pendant in our apartment. After calling several places and reading many reviews, we contacted Habib. Habib was easy to get in touch with, very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly, and he did a great job installing a dimmer and switching out the fan.

He was very detail oriented and cautious with our delicate fixture. We didn't feel rushed - he let us take our time making decisions about how to hang the fixture (height, etc.). He even came during a busy time for him to accommodate us. All these five star reviews are well-justified!

Habib was extremely courteous, efficient and professional. He arrived around 4:00 p.m., and didn't leave until after 8:00. He was able to diagnose that we were running on the wrong ampage, which was why we were continuously having outages in our kitchen.
